Unfortunately all you can do is keep ringing them, get your congress person/senator to follow up on your petition etc... not much can be done but you can keep reminding them about your petition :) sorry you are going through this, it's hard I know but you have to stay strong till the end as it will happen eventually!

Congrats photomile!

My fiance hit traffic today and ended up being 6 minutes late for his GP appointment, so they gave his appointment away. They gave him one for tomorrow at 8:30 and he's going to leave extra early to get there. However, I calculated and today it's 92 days til the wedding, not 90 like I thought. So with any luck, he'll get the letter tomorrow and I can stop worrying if we'll have his visa by late November. Even with the delays, I think we'll be okay.

Yes I suggested to ask for a copy of a full medical in case they lose your results at the POE => USCIS.

A doctor will usually give you a copy of your vaccine record only, so for those who have the vaccines marked as "complete" , they won't need to do a new medical or visit a surgeon and pay again . So it's better to have a copy of the entire medical in case you get an RFE during your AOS process for the medical (they tend to lose them, I don't know why) .

Not every doctor wants to give a copy of the entire package unfortunately , I was lucky and I got mine :)

You're joking?! Six minutes and they gave it away?! They're supposed to wait fifteen! And never in a UK surgery do you go in for a 10:05 appointment, and not have to wait for ten minutes.

Someone is obviously not wanting to speak with your fiancee.

WOOOHOOO! So happy for you and Lorie! :)

great guys! Happy for you!

great, im certain you wont be opening that huge envelope.

Thank you!

I'm guessing I won't be either. Sealed on three sides with tape and a stamp. Not even a little bit tempted. Just worried that they'll open it in customs or something

Congrats photomile!

Thanks

Yep, 6 minutes. Just wait until you get to the US and want to see a specialist. You're looking at anywhere from a half hour to a two hour wait. It does seem very strange to me, but a 24 hour clinic with rotating doctors seems weird to me anyway. He's never seen the same one more than twice. I really don't know why they couldn't just look at his file from the GP's dictation and write him a letter then and there, but I don't know things work legally in the UK. I've told him to get there a half hour early tomorrow so that they have no excuse. And he's going to take our wedding contract to see if that will convince them to write it then and there.
