Well, my fiance went to see the GP but the one who was in wouldn't write the letter for him since he's not his normal doctor. So he has to wait until Tuesday so he can come in and see that GP. And the office says it might take a week to write the letter. Not the way I wanted to start my weekend.

Have him explain the urgency of the situation and ask if the medical place will accept a faxed letter. I'm 90% certain they will and you'll get it sorted middle of next week. I said it would be about a weeks delay, so trust me you're fine. His bloods would only just be done by tuesday so in reality if they can fax something it's only a 3 day delay

Thank you. I think next week will be a better week for us in general. This week I've done lots of travelling for work and everything's been stressful anyway. He made an appointment for first thing when the GP is back on Tuesday and he's going to beg if he has to. He's calling the medical office to ask if they'll accept a fax as well. They said it would take a week because it had to go through secretaries and such, but I can see no reason at all for that. Finger crossed that everything will be sorted next week. Thank you for your support :)

My fiancee went home and went through the mail, wasnt expecting anything and bam, she saw the USCIS envelope with a yellow sticker on it. seems like it was forwarded so who ever said USPS dont forward USCIS mail, they are wrong, as long as they have the new address, they should send it along. I read in a lot of forums where peeps said they dont

I think there is another January filer as well who came to this thread recently that was still waiting. Not sure if that is still the case. Can't remember the name, but starts with a K.

I feel real bad for Texas22. I was glad she was able to come to Texas, but someone's not doing their job at USCIS. She responded to the RFE, they could process her file now for goodness sake. :protest:

I don't believe I've posted to this thread before, but I filed an I-129F with Vermont on January 17 and my fiancee and I are still waiting for the NOA2. USCIS, who I call regularly, tells me they're still processing January 16, and that my case is thus still within "normal processing times". They've been processing January 16 for about a month now, from what I've been told by both tier 1 and tier 2 people on the phone. I've also contacted a senator in my home state (CA -- live in DC), but nothing has resulted from that yet. So that leaves us .... waiting. Still shows "Initial Review" when I check the website. We were touched on 2/08/2012. No RFE. This is a complete and utter debacle.

I would just like to add that this website and its members have been phenomenal in providing support and information on the K-1 process. Many thanks to all of you! We've been gathering packet 3 information and my fiancee has scoped out the Seoul embassy for wait times, etc. So I think we are well prepared for the next stage. Now if we could only get there!

I really hope you hear sth asap. I am really surprised ppl from January are still waiting, seeing others from February being approved, but well not that it wasn't this way since over a month now :( ... This really sucks and I really feel for you :( and its horrible that nothibg can be done but wait. But you will get it one day soon and all I can say to you is what I say to everyone who still wait: look at how far you've gotten and not how far you still are from your target :) Not too helpful , knowing that i am approved and you are not but I do know how hard it is and keeping everyone still waiting in my thoughts. All the best to you guys!
