LOL! well I am kind of the same today... and to add more stress (aaah life!!) just phoned my mum to find out my granny is at hospital with a broken femur and at her remarkably age of 96 shes gonna get surgery today or tomorrow....!! Ahhhhhh.

LOL! well I am kind of the same today... and to add more stress (aaah life!!) just phoned my mum to find out my granny is at hospital with a broken femur and at her remarkably age of 96 shes gonna get surgery today or tomorrow....!! Ahhhhhh.

Thats horrible news, actually it's also great news knowing that at 96 she's still strong and they're not worried about anaesthesia! She's going for that world record!

You'll be fine, but I will expect a detailed report by tomorrow night so I can read it while I 'cant sleep'

I'm sure she's going to be fine. Everyone gets the speech. They have to.

I'm going the same route with the phones. Two phones, multiple alarms, my tablet, my alarm clock... I'm not risking this one! Leaving extra early to get to heathrow and tube in..

sara and mark, you're gonna be fine! she's gonna be friendly, she's gonna say you're approved, and you're gonna gonna be overwhelmed with emotion!

an hour later.. still no visa! therefore i recommend paying for it to come by a particular time when you go to the courier desk with your pink slip tomorrow! even if you don't work and don't need it there by a particular time, this extra few hours wait after SEVEN LOOOONG MONTHS is a killer ;) actually just realised VSC received our petition jan 13th, and today i'm receiving visa (hopefully!) august 13... maybe not such an unlucky number for us!

Good luck Photomile and LorRenee! I will be thinking of you on Wednesday. It will definitely get my mind off getting a cavity filled that day. Our medical is this Thursday and I have a few things I'm nervous about this week, so I'm trying to focus on the positive. I hope that we can get our interview date not too long after the medical is done. I have my fingers crossed for a September interview date!

Thank you Sabi! Just hoping I get it today or tomorrow so we can celebrate a bit before I have to head back to Canada.

I don't even say head back home anymore, because I feel like this is home now! :)

oh c'mon guys! I am sure everyone can read do not open in read ;) that's what I am talking about, reading other threads where people spread the panic... I got two envelopes from my doctor one was for me and another for the embassy. I knew exactly which one not to open and which one was for me :) even though it didn't say do not open in red or anything like that... It will be a sealed envelope, most probably with a tape and it will say not to open it. How can anyone miss that? :)
