I hope today is your day, Texas22!

I really hope that the police have finished our certificate and are sending it on. I will not be happy if we have to move our medical a second time. And to think today was the day I originally planned on getting married! I must have been very optimistic.

Thanks Knope! :D

I hope your police check is done in time too! I understand all about optimism... we were hoping for NOA2 in May when I was here and it didn't come, then surely June would be our month... uhm nope... it's definitely gotta be July... (sigh) NOPE!

And now we're into August... c'mon VSC!!!

We were hoping to move by October 1st. Now we are simply hoping to be here by Christmas!!

We're hoping for October since the London Embassy has been unusually quick with interviews lately. It has to be August for you! It's been said, but things move so much faster after the NOA2 stage! The NVC makes up for the long USCIS wait.

Thank you so much! I know that Ireland will send Ray a packet 3 after they get the file. I just wasn't sure if NVC would notify us when that is sent, or when they are done procressing it. Thanks again!

Not much we have to do Mel. You can call NVC but that's pretty much just for yourself to find out about your case number. We dont need to know it for police record or medical purposes as we have it done without it :)

It's good to know the number when you contact the embassy, thats all.

We will call NVC tomorrow so over a week after we have been approved... Once it reaches the embassy they will send us packet 3 which will be pretty much probably a link to their website to download the forms...

Hi everyone! Been lurking here for some time now while preparing my I-129 petition for my fiance. Thankful for all the wonderful people here helping one another, and helping those like me who lurked here for a while. My petition was received by the Texas lockbox on Januart 19th. Now on to the excruciating wait.

I may have an uphill climb before me so please send me some good luck when you all can :-). I have so many questions but will save those for later. Been worried too long that I missed anything so I just went ahead and sent the application off. Frontloading it might have been a mistake but I already did it. Some people say it's good, some say it isn't see. I guess we'll wait and see.

Thanks all!!!

How do you know that the NVC has sent your petition? Is there some way to check it?

The police cert is done with No Trace, which is what London needs :) I'm very happy that it means we can move forward to the medical, and then the interview.

Kelso, the RFE states they will respond within 60 days. If they updated your case to "RFE Response Review" on June 22, then they have until Aug 22 at the most. I certainly hope they don't take that long. Most people I've seen are typically getting approval within 2 - 4 weeks after RFE. Good luck to you! :)

Texas22,

thank you very much. Good luck to you too. We still have 12 days before the 22. Hope next week will be our week.
