Congrats Mel!!!! That is great to see!

Glad to see that you got your case number, DJ!

So yes, tomorrow is the day for Texas22!!!!!!! Thursday...Texas...it's gotta be! And it's the 9th and all good things happen for us in relation to the 9th, 10th, and 11th of different months...we became a couple on Oct. 9th 2 years ago, we got our NOA1 on Jan. 9th, our NOA2 on June 11th, and our interview is on Oct. 10th.....so I am crossing my fingers that the same 3 days are good for you!

Who else out there is missing NOA2??! Am I crazy or are we really close to the end of this wait for all Jan. filers here?!

Oh and a weird fact another filer from last year here in Honduras pointed out: our embassy schedules the interviews RIGHT before the NOA2s expire so they don't have to deal with putting through an extension on them. Wish I would have known that a few months ago since I would have known it would be in October! But why wait till the last minute when they could schedule them way before that 4 month deadline...argh. Craziness.

Hey guys! I just got back to the states today. I was very sad leaving but I was glad it would be the last time we had to say goodbye because the next time we see each other it will be for good!

Congrats to Sabi, djricky, kitty and all the others, I skimmed through the forum to catch up!

I called the NVC before I left the states on wednesday July 25 and I got our case number, and I found out that they forwarded our case to London on July 20th. He got a letter in the mail while I was visiting saying London received our packet and we mailed the required forms and his medical is in about 2 weeks or less! Things are FINALLY rolling quickly! Hopefully he will get a quick interview date. We are still shooting for him to be in the states by October or November. He still has loose ends to tie up before leaving so, but all I can say is YAY!

I just have to share this...it makes me laugh every time I open my email and see it there! This is the start of the email we got yesterday with the interview date:

"Dear Sirs,

The Appointment has been scheduled for:"

Dear sirs?!?!?! really?! Who says that?! Oh man....if we were a gay couple, great! But at least a "sir and madam" would be nice if you have to use ancient language!

Oh my god!!!! I was driving home and my phone chimed that I had a text. I was just going to ignore it, but I took a peek to see who it was from and it was those infamous digits that come at the top of a USCIC text.

I almost wrecked my car!!!! I got to the stop light, clicked on my mail, and there it was APPROVED!!!! I started bawling, crying.gif the car behind me was honking at me to go, oops8rh.gif I forgot how to drive for a minute!!!! I have never felt happier in my life. This is likely a stupid question ,but what do we do now?

We have all of the next paperwork done, I filled it out in Ireland when I was there in July and Ray has it all. We have his medical and police certs done....

Do we get notice from NVC when they get our file? Do they notify us when it goes to Dublin? Or do we have to call to get that info?

I was so obsessed with the NOA2.... I am unclear about the NVC stage. :help:
