Most December petitions have either received adjudication or an RFE at this point. Always seems to be about 15 - 20 timelines that users neglect to update. So by that count and including the RFEs. There's only a few timelines remaining for December at VSC. Should be many January petitions coming through the next 2 weeks!

1/13/12 - I-129F Petition Submitted to Dallas Lockbox

1/18/12 - Received at Vermont Service Center

1/20/12 - NOA1

1/24/12 - Touched

2/09/12 - Touched

8/02/12 - NOA2 (197 Days After Received at VSC)

8/14/12 - Received at NVC (Assigned Case Number)

8/16/12 - Departed from NVC

8/20/12 - Arrived in US Embassy Kiev

8/28/12 - Information Received from Embassy via mail

9/12/12 - Interview (Approved)

9/19/12 - Visa Received via Elin Ltd. (FedEx)

Man I hope so... Sveta is beginning to think it will never happen. It's hard hearing that someone that someone you love is lonely and sad....

Edited for iPhone spellcheck stupidity....?

I'm dealing with the same thing bro. I think it's hard for them to understand sometimes...I'm just praying I don't end up as one of the unlucky petitions that lags behind the rest. Always seems to be a few of them. But hopefully good news for all of us in the next 3 weeks...Really hoping Julia can be here by July.

Moscow is a little longer, but I'm hoping Sveta can be here mid September. I' going to go spend 2 weeks with her the first of July, so that should help a little. I just hope the NOA2's come soon. Of course, I guess most couples go through this before their petition is approved. It's hard to grow up in the Soviet Regime and have much faith in dreams ,from what I can understand. Just stand strong brother, it is coming!!

It's the same here! It feels like the closest we get, the longest it feels... really frustrating and I kind of understand why some people give in at this stage, if they are not strong enough and don't love each other there is no way they can make it! I'm glad it won't happen to us ad we will all be with our loved ones really soon!

WOW!!! What is it about this week? I am reading all of these comments and thinking to myself... Is this common at this phase of the process; to feel like complete ####### and wondering if you will make it to the end? This has been, by far, the worst week for me at just being plain irritated by the lack of progress. I was not a pleasant person to be around this week at work; largely because of missing her. And my fiancee and I even talked about it this morning. Hoping it will start moving, and saying how one day we will forget about all the time we waited. Sometimes I wonder if the timeline isn't calculated by immigration; just to "weed out" those that aren't serious. Anyway, glad to know its not just me dealing with this... To be so close, yet feel soooo far... I hope our time is near, and we will start to congratulate each other on NOA2...

Yeah really, if the wait doesn't kill it... all the paperwork and expense will. I believe it is designed this way to weed out those that are not serious. This is a long and lengthy process. It has been a hard week here too, I am counting the days until NOA2 and also counting the days until I visit my fiance. I go to see him in three days, so I know that while I am there I will not be thinking about this as much... and just enjoying our time together. (L):)

We are hoping for the NOA2 by the time I get back home June 3rd!! Keeping fingers and toes crossed!! :P

Yeah... It's very tough, but I agree. I've always said that this waiting time may be a "cooling off" period intended to break the weaker relationships. We just have to keep our eyes on the prize. All of us are over the 100 day mark, so most of us should be approved (or heaven forbid) RFE'd within the next 20-25 days!!!)))). Better days are just around the corner Januaries, so hold fast and let your fiancé (or fiancée) know that you love them and just hold on a few more days!!!!! Everything is going to be alright!!!!! ?

My dear January filers...like everything else in this life, this is the "numbers game" ...Our lives are nothing more than statistical iteration of a higher divine plan...I do"numbers" for living and I can tell you the magic number is 134 days from the NOA1 date....So some 4 months and 1 or 2 weeks is the time for pieces to fall in to the place...Outliers are here just to confirm the rule, they truly are the exception to the rule....Within (plus or minus) two weeks from the 134 mark we all will hear the good news....So, let's stay positive and the great "AVERAGE TIME FROM NOA1 TO NOA2" will work for all of us...:) Let's keep it positive....

BTW...I'm as frustrated as you are but I will not, CANNOT, get myself down...Good things happen to the good people...And we all are, otherwise we would not be doing this, we wouldn't all be here...We would have given up or would not seek this way to do it...And to quote my favorite band of all times "UP THE IRONS"

I hope this drunken diatribe make sense...The time is near...and to quote the Maiden again..."It can't be all coincidence too many things are evident.."

Cheers!!!
