Hey, I just wanted to wish everyone a good weekend. Sorry I have been "out of the loop" for a bit but I went to Russia for a few days to be with Sveta. I am astonished and appalled at how few of you guys have been approved recently... It is terrible!!! Just an update, Sveta's interview will be August 29th in Moscow. So, please, say a little prayer for her approval!!! Wishing you all the best!!

Great news on the interview! I hope everything goes well :)

c'mon USCIS! I really hope you guys that we are in one box... and once one person gets some news, we will all celebrate together! This feels like USCIS gives us a silent treatment

im clinging to the slim chance of hope that they just accept that birth cert cause its more detailed, it has everything they would want to prove citizenship. y does it even matter anyway??? as long as you were born in the US your a citizen........so why wouldnt they wanna accept it? there isnt much proof of authenticity??? obama has the same thing and they still cant prove if he is a us citizen or not

Sabi,

I think you guys HAVE to be in one box. It's crazy to see that little group from the 20th-25th that's been neglected. It makes you think...how messy does this place have to be to lose an entire box??? Where could it POSSIBLY be??? wow.gif

Here's hoping today is your day, for sure, you all deserve it! rose.gif

I hope you are right friend. The green one you posted is the state one. Silly, I know but my state on looks similar and that is the one they wanted... IDK.... The other one is much more detailed, mine was a lot like it and they gave me and RFE for it...????? I think it is all a up to the person who has your file. I hope you get by with what you sent and you get approved very soon. Hang in there!

Hey Texas, glad you made it... thats one heck of a road trip. Enjoy your time!! Great news here - Visa in hand!! We return to usa next week for the POE gambit. Interesting how the fedex delivery worked here. They call her home and grandmother answer... but cannot deliver to her, so call Lidia mobile, and then meet her on the street after 5 minutes in the city center... Hang in there cousin Paul, after approval you will FLY...

Thanks L+T... yes it was, we hauled a$$... but the kids wanted to get here fast (and so did I). We only stopped one night at a hotel so the kids could have a swim and we all could get a good night's sleep. Happy to be here with my hunny for a few weeks. I am really hoping we get our approval while I am here... that would be awesome!! :)

So Happy for you Guys!! Visa in hand must feel amazing!! POE will be fine! Last leg! :D

Once all of us get approvals then things will start to go fast for the rest of us too! I'm thinking a meet-up in USA is definitely in order for us January filers!!

I mailed my I-134 and some pay stubs and things to my fiance today, so that's another step done. Hopefully he'll get it around the time he gets the police cert next week, and then we can schedule the medical and mail Packet 3. Even though I've read the guides a hundred times by now, I'm still amazed at how many little steps this process takes!

I am very surprised how different it gets once we are approved...

Each consulate has such different rules...

We have no packets, embassy just calls the beneficiary to schedule an appointment. We bring everything to the interview (DS documents, affidavit, medical result, police certificate, etc - no need to bring proof on ongoing relationship either!) and police certificate and medical can be scheduled anytime, even without approval, nvc case #...

London seems to be tough and complicated...
