Sabi... I have been monitoring the progress, or lack thereof, of the Jan filers for some time now and I want to thank you for your updates of the VSC I-129 approvals/rfe/stagnation or whatever term you would like to utilize. It breaks my heart that you have to endure this seemingly unending, unrepsonsive wait but I think you are a tough Irish lass and good things (i.e NOA2) are eminent. This is your week.. I can feel it! Chin up and be strong. My positive vibes are rooting for you.

Not to call anybody out, but I wish our veteran VJ members would return and start actively posting again. I know a lot of them do, which is much appreciated, but I'm thinking particularly the member who had a nice chat with the VSC Director (pinned topic) and had a friend who is an adjudicator. Maybe they could have shed light on what's happening at VSC, but alas they have gone inactive. That's too bad :(

I asked about Gary in the RUB forum a few days ago... Apparently he is taking care of the "Honey-Doo" list this summer in Ukraine. But yes, he does have some inside connections as his wife's friend works there as adjunticator. Too bad not a peep from him in several weeks... The RUB forum also says it is not the same without him.

At least the official line now is that they are processing January 16th. It's not much..But I guess it's better than going backward...Hopefully the advance in the processing date will yield something for 1/18 - 1/27 (the forgotten petitions). I would hope that they will be pushing through most of the 1/18, 1/19, 1/20 receipt dates now and finish that week off. Guess we'll see what the rest of the week brings. Hope the focus will be directed a little more toward K1s.

You are soooooo lucky! We have the same NOA2 date and same consulate received date and our embassy doesn't answer the phones or respond to emails or anything...we just have to wait all over again. I feel just like the person who posted above here about how this is taking a toll...yes, I have NOA2 and I am grateful but this second wait is driving me insane. I can't take it anymore. I understand that the embassy here is busier than others but I emailed them on like July 9th or 10th and still no response. Seriously, those of you who have fast embassies, count your blessings!!! To think we wanted to get married in August or September......

ANd good luck with your interview! That is very exciting!!!

Thank you so much.... I wish you luck and hopefully you'll hear from your embassy pretty soon..... Keep me posted. :)

Wish you and the fiance the best on your upcoming August interview :star:

Thank you for your good wishes. I really hope everything will go smooth. *crossing my fingers* I hope yours will go smooth. :)

uh.... sorry

just trying to provide a possible explanation that makes sense. Of course it's not fair people aren't being approved in order, and it's about time this got sorted out. It's ridiculous, and no official word on what the heck is going on over there is even more worrying.

yes I know

You see the only thing is, I see those RFEs still there, hundreds of them not approved so I am not sure how this causes the backlog if they still don't do anything about them... Unless they are approving RFEs from last year but even that, you're saying that those are still untouched from November/December... looks to me as if any explanation and excuse was good enough for them... well it is not for us though!I see people from early Feb being approved (I am happy for them of course!) but what does it tell me? that my petition is lost? in a wrong box (maybe with April/May petitions by mistake) or that we are going through a lot of background checks? That again doesn't make much sense, Terry never got even a speed ticket and had been background checked so many times before since he works as a volunteer in the hospital... Something is not right in there... Just to give them more time, I am hoping now I will be approved by the end of August, that way I would probably make it for a November move... but then again, here is me hoping!

I only have numbers for Jan 12 and like 2 or 3 from Jan 11 that were mixed into those.. but I am still checking those and it seems like they are currently working on approving RFEs. There are hardly any new approvals, but many many approvals that were previously RFEs. :|

I can't imagine how it must feel to still be waiting :( If there was at least some sense in their system it would be easier to bear I guess..

Don't even know if I should post this but I got my pack 4 today. I'm not even that happy though when I think of the people who are still waiting. :(

of course you should post this! It is January filers' thread and most of you guys are approved and its great when you guys post your updates! Its just a small group of us that are still waiting and I am sure none of us wants you guys to be sad because of that! We need to hear good news, even though we wish we were in your position , it is still great to read that things do move once you are approved :)

Congrats!!!

Not at all :) I was just saying in general that each and every news or excuse USCIS posts doesn't make us feel any better...

Anyway there are 3 more days to this week, let's hope they bring some good news to each of us :) whether waiting for NOA2, NVC or the interview :)
