Congrats guys!!! :)

I can't get out of here earlier then sept 28 since my work contract is up on 9/21 and then i need a week to care of some stuff...

However we were apart for 2 years and have been able to survive as a couple, 2 more months apart won't change anything :)

Once again, its awesome! When's the wedding? :)

Congrats for you as well... Yes, is nice to stay longer when it is your choice instead of the USCIS choice... Wedding is next summer in Ukraine. But we will make legal marriage and sign papers before too long...

Funny you asked this... I was asked this at interview today as well... in fact, it seemed as though i had more questions than lidia, and she only raise her right hand and swear all the evicence she submitted was true..

What airline did you use to fly there?

We are flying AeroSvit. Best price for Kiev - JFK. And using their website, sometimes you can get super-saver deals. I flew JFK - Odessa (via kiev) a year ago April for $540 Round trip, but I had to layover 1 night in kiev on the way back... But also, they offer good discount for 1-way flights.... Maybe 70% or so the cost of round trip.

How is this for crazy... Flew to Ukraine Saturday, went to interview today (approved), they said 2-3 days by FedEx, and already have flight back and seats together for next week!!!

Congrats!! (F)

I just received my “request for evidence” letter (I-797) from USCIS. Good golly, what an idiot I am. Here’s the problem: on page three of the I-129f petition they ask if you’ve ever been convicted of various things, spouse abuse, violent offenses, drugs, and such. Check yes or no, and sign it. SIGN IT, you idiot!!!!!! I guess I could whine about why it should take 6 months for them to detect am omitted signature, but I’m too dumb to have any right to complain. My signature is now on its way to Vermont via super-express mail.

At least that should be something easy to fix. I'm sure you'll get your NOA2 soon now!

Well, the NVC has already received and forward my case to London as of Friday, so Vermont is at least moving much faster after the approval :). It took about a week after the NOA2 to get it to the NVC and for it to be forwarded.

That is quick! Glad things are moving faster for you! good.gif

no approvals today?? :(.. I really hope they make up for it during the rest of the week...I don't understand how days like this can continue. What kind of backlog are they trying to create over there? Have they decided to use our petitions as building insulation now? inquiring minds want to know..

6 months and 11 days since our NAO1:( These last 2 weeks have been killers for me and fiance as far as emotions go. We know we forgot a paper in our packet, realized in May, so we are expecting an RFE. And the idea of that taking months to process on top of the fact that we haven't even heard anything yet, brings the petition alone into the 9+ month timeframe for us. That is outrageous and unbearable.

My fiance is moving to Holland to work for 3 months. Which means with the time difference and our work schedules, we won't be able to talk or chat except on the weekends. I feel like it just keeps getting worse and worse as the year goes on.... I know we HAVE to be getting closer. We ARE. But for the love of God Please let us know SOMETHING!!!!!

Does anyone know what is the protocol if a petition does actually get lost???
