cant believe 6 months and 3 days. at the start of the process, i thought i would have had an interview by now. awww well. only thing will do now is an approval this week and my case at NVC by mid august.......#wishfullthinking

185 days! well I would have never thought it would come down to this but well, it's life and that definitely made me feel a little more humble. I usually have plan for everything and this time, this process left me powerless... it's well worth waiting though and I am sure some time soon it has to be an end to all this wait it is just matter of days! You will see

I think you'll have approval very soon Sabi! There's still 8 petitions around my own untouched and about 6 with some kind of action...Just no RFEs for any of us please!

Yup......just you and I; either lost, left on some ones desk or about to get be approvals to break this dreaded sequence of RFEs

Indeed..I'm glad that I have my Congressman calling because I don't know about my group of petitions. They are particularly MIA...lost somewhere. 8 out of 14 are untouched and of the 6 approved the dates are very sporadic, just all over the place...Only 1 RFE thus far in that group of 6. Last time anything was done with my group of 1/18s was 7/11....

seriously! I know how people say RFE is better than nothing but to be honest I prefer nothing today than this crazy RFE and another 1-2 months worth of wait!

Yes. An RFE might be better than nothing earlier on in the process...But right now..It would devastate me...Particularly because it would have to be for something so random and stupid (I used an attorney just to have another set of eyes on this thing and avoid just that!) So it's like they either lost paperwork, were too lazy to thoroughly review the petition, or were lying about the contents. This process has been cruel..But that is just inhumane. Starting to forget I even live in the USA because it certainly doesn't feel like the land of the free or opportunity right now. It feels extremely hostile and malevolent as good citizens (we did this the legal way) who just want to be with the person they love are accorded fewer rights than criminals...I'm not impressed at all...And I know we shouldn't take it personally..But if they're going to give out arbitrary RFEs when all the evidence is there and satisfies the requirements...Well that is personal!

Yup, seems like they blasting RFEs, i hope we both get approved today.......then we gonna look at it and be like....dam, im really excited considering how they were dishing RFEs around us

I feel bad for most of these peeps still cause this is just going to add a month or so to their processing time
