NOA2 @ 7/20/2012 6:15PM EST

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On July 20, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Just coming home from work like every other day. Saw the SMS, just said case updated but didn't say what.

I was trying to open up my laptop on the bus and get a signal. Then I realized I could just use the email app on my phone hahah.

Totally in shock, & beyond happy. I read the email over and over just to make sure. I don't know what to do with myself.

She wakes up in a few hours.... Thank God.

To those JAN peeps still waiting, you are in my prayers. Don't lose hope.

Made this image the other day, never thought I could miss someone so much.

Have you checked Etsy? There are some amazing designers on that site from all over the world. It's not all hinky clothing like you see on Regretsy, thankfully! I found my dress on there. The price range can vary based on your budget, but you can definitely find one for under $200, even under $100. Plus, depending on the designer, they will customize it to fit your measurements.

That's exactly where I found it! :( I just emailed to see if they had any pics of the actual dress for sale b/c the colors of the flowers in the pics they had listed kind of varied and I wanted to be sure of how the flowers looked on the one for sale...and then it was gone. So yea, it was $200 on there but on the website of the designer, it is wayyyy more...so here's hoping she puts another one up of the same!!!

Congrats Rui&Kate and Mrjohnblack!

Omg I can't believe all those RFEs! They ARE just stamping them out over the stupidest things that don't really matter I bet just so they can delay the process and buy themselves more time. Just like the "passport photos being too big" really? I don't think so... They don't even use those for anything I don't think except to put a face with a name.... London embassy requires another set of passport photos for the visa....

I hope Paul, Sabi Vos, Tex and the rest of you guys hear something soon! This is $@&%ing ridiculous!

By the way, I was talking to a nurse that I work with and she was telling me that her husband was from Scotland (he died awhile back) and they didn't know anything about getting a visa so he stayed in the US on the 3 month visa you automatically get to enter the country for visits and then he went home for a few days and came back. The customs officer told him he couldn't do that but he'd let him in this time but not to over stay. They went to the immigration office in our state and asked what they could do for him to stay. She said the immigration officer said "I'm really not suppose to tell you this but just go get married and apply for AOS" !!!!!!! That was 10 yrs ago but still! I can't believe they told them to do that!!!! Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
