unless they have lost something which happens as I believe...

It is really shame they don't tell you straight away and you have to wait for a mail which can take a few days...

I am actually expecting RFE too, we didn't send the front and the back passport cover, I bet they will say they needed it! :P lol

Yikes, I did not send that either... could be that. Mail is usually fast, after the initial shock of it, crying, and venting to you all, I am ok. At least if it is an easy fix, we should be approved soon after I send it back. I really appreciate you all. I think I would go crazy if I did not have this site for support. Poor Ray is freaking out thinking he did something wrong. I told him it is not him vs me, it is us and that file is OURS. We did it together, we will fix it together. All will be ok. I just really want to get married on 10/20!!!! So I am praying this will be over soon.

I am so sorry... VSC is just messing with everyone's plans. We originally thought August wedding.... What a laugh that is now. We came to our senses about a month ago and pushed it forward... Now I am scared we wont be able to do that! Good luck Miguel.angel, I hope you hear something soon. And NO RFE.

Medical could be done earlier. But I'm not sure how the Criminal Record works in Russia. My fiance had to get another police certificate because it was only valid for 3 months...and then things slowed down to this horrible level. There was a time that we expected to interview late July or the worst early August...now we're hoping for a miracle just to interview in August..NOA2 still feels so close yet so far out of reach..

You will need KEV number and passport photos for medical. (as well vaccine record if available)

Ours was/is planned for October 6

my parents got married on October 5, his on October 7.

This was a special date to us... well my fiance keeps sayin: "just relax, the date really doesn't matter at this point anymore..." (yes i have been very frustrated that we wont get that special date :( )

Whats your new date?

Im lucky if we get NOA2 end of next month and from then call it tops 2 more months. I think she can be here by mid November perhaps. At first we were gonna plan something nice and big but being realistic, there's no time (or energy) to plan something big.

Sorry i didnt explain myself correctly...

I am waiting still for my NOA2. But all these RFEs are making me think ima get one also. I guess im just being paranoid.

I know i did make one mistake. I dont know if they would return the whole packet for some simple mistake. Maybe thats why im paranoid. I had all her personal information, dob, city of Birth etc etc, on all forms correctly. Except on one form the g35a is missing her city of birth. Its on all other forms except this box here. I synched my folders with dropbox and there was a conflict between adobe acrobat and the pdf program we use at work and it removed a couple boxes entries on this form. I corrected but i missed that box. Im hoping they dont return for only this.

Its all over ALL the forms she was born in Moscow

Per instructions, except for signiture and date, you need not repeat any information on the G325a that is already on the i-129f.

Aaah, then i got nothing to worry about it then. I think my packet was excellent. I looked over many times, and everything was good. So im hoping no RFE! <crosses fingers>

Yup. If only we'd be getting our NOA2s we could be moving on quickly! VSC is in bad shape right now. I was just browsing through Igor's list. I think it's safe to say that this may be one of the worst backlogs ever to happen there. It's literally impossible to correct now. I think we'll see petitions sent out to CSC. They have 146 VJ users pending for February alone. They won't be coming out of this one. It went on too long. Unless they're going to change processing time to 7-8 months or something. These forums should have been lighting up for VSC weeks ago. It's going to be too little too late now. And they still seem to be neglecting 1/18, 1/19, and 1/20 I don't understand what the problem is with the petitions received on these dates.

Not the worst (yet), April 2011 Igor had Vermont at 185 days average. Igor still has them now at 165.

EDIT, Excuse me, 169 now, whew, it is getting very bad!!

Well, I just checked, they sent us an RFE today.. I can't stop crying... Wow, so much for wanting my file looked at.

Ray and Mel... I am so sorry to hear this happened to you guys at this stage... :( I hope that it is some simple fix for you guys and that you can return it quickly to them.

On the bright side (if there is one to this maddening process  ) at least you know that your file has been looked at and it hasn't fallen into VSC abyss somewhere...

The least they can do (after giving us RFE's so late into the processing time) is to give us a quick turnaround on our RFE responses...

that's the spirit...as it has been mentioned a zillion times in this site, you don't need a lawyer if you have a normal case...unfortunately, everyone might get an RFE with or without lawyers :( you are absolutely right that this is YOU vs. UCSIS...don't let this surely simple RFE destroy your faith and the love between you two  I know it's really sad to get an RFE after this looooong wait, but hey! you're almost there  it can be just as simple as forgetting to check NO for criminal records ;) once you respond to the RFE, you're gonna be approved really soon

So what is the average percentage of RFE's given for K1's?? Does anyone know? Of the 11 cases in my group there were 6 approvals and 5 RFE's... (or 45%) Is that about average?
