I can't understand what is going on but there are so many RFEs coming out. So sorry for everyone that got an RFE. Hope they can approve you quickly, so you can get on to the next stage...

My fiance called NVC on Monday and we got our number and the package is on its way to the embassy. But I feel bad about all the people who have not got their NOA2s and are getting RFEs. I hope everything works out soon. For everyone here. Praying for all of us. God see us through this hard time and trying journey. there is this theory about RFEs that the adjudicator gives it so the clock can restart for them and they have more time. If that is true, it's horrible and heartless but why am I even surprised?It's exactly like this whole process!

and today is officially 6 months for me..we need a good day here on VJ. CSC approvals of VJ associated timelines is still blowing us away..They'll be half way through March soon, and we can't even get them to finish January.

That is really evil and bad...Why do that at someone's expense?? So many people are waiting to be with their loved ones and someone does that?? Indeed, its a big bad world out there.

Guys, don't be alarmed by the number of RFE's that are being sent out, please!

When I went through the petitions for all of December a heck of a lot of RFE's were sent out anyway. It's perfectly normal! There are a lot of people out there that don't read instructions or do need additional information. I even mentioned it earlier in this thread that I was surprised at the number of RFE's that I was seeing. It's nothing out of the ordinary at all

for the adjudicator we are just a number and sth he has to work on... he/she doesn't see a person behind those numbers, it's horrible and soulless but that's the way it is... we are just a job they need to do to meet some (unknown for us) deadlines!

I know so many don't read instructions but everyone is almost getting hit with an RFE. It is surprising..But its good to know that someone is not doing something at someone's expense. Thank you for reminding us

really hoping to be approved by the end of the week. my fiance is leaving for the airport right now to go back home after a nice 2 weeks vacation and we hope we would have gotten approved before but now, im just hoping we get it before friday. im sad enough right now. i wish uscis can take take that sadness away

are you contacting your congressman today or tomorrow? I think we will wait till Monday after we hit 6 months this Friday just so we pass the 6 months and they can't tell us we are within processing time the whole day on that 6 month's day... knowing them, it's possible haha

Terry visits me on September 1st so I am pretty sure we will be approved by then... Since he told me he is coming over, I see this whole waiting in a different light Next time I say goodbye to him, I'll know for 99% when will I see him again

well to be honest the instruction on USCIS website are not that clear... So I'd say a lot of those RFEs are for people not too familiar with the process or VJ... people on VJ sometimes also joined after they sent the petitions :)so it's all a big fat guess!

Yes. Decided to wait until tomorrow for the office to initiate any contact with USCIS..because knowing how they operate, I don't want to leave any chance that they try to say today is still within normal processing time haha. However, Katchoo's Congressman was able to push an expedite through exactly at 6 months..Waiting one more day for my Congressman to act isn't so bad. So I think I'll do it. Although I will phone them today to explain the situation in greater detail.
