That was quick! mine was delivered on 20th and we still haven't heard back from them this is just a very beginning and I am already worrying haha!

Hi skiptex! How did you access your chat logs? Still trying to figure this out. I can't seem to figure out how to do it :-(

um.. in your chat window.. just outside the box.. you should see.. today/yesterday/last week/last month/last year (something like that that.. )..

i click LAST YEAR.. and it opens up all your old message for past year.. (we were chatting for just over a year.. but could only go back in the history one year to current date.. it deletes the rest.. (older then 1 year)

then i right click "SELECT ALL"

I had to go through 145 pages of Skype chat logs over the past year, and that was only on Skype. It didn't include all of the air time, e-mails, etc. I finally took out all of the spacing between the lines and reduced the font to about 9 to get it down to about 65 pages.

you adjust the column and spaces between columns.. i only sent 12 pages.. (just skype).. emails.. i have saved all her emails into one folder and i just printed out the directory of our emails.. did not send contents of emails..

we use WHATSAPP phone application.. EVERY DAY ALL DAY.. and she was able to get TEXT from her BlackBerry and emailed them to herself.. we printed them too

My fiance sent our petition yesterday, obviously we haven't got anything yet, probably it is yet to be delivered! But I am already anxious to receive at least the NOA1... !!!

I didn't know about skype keeping only one year history... I better get it done now, since it was a year a couple of wks ago...! thanks for the tips to all of you!

I used WORD, not EXCEL. Also, how does that WHATSAPP work? What're the costs/requirements? We both have iffy internet from our service providers. I get free SMS international messaging, but she has to pay to send them to me. I pay for her to have a phone number to call in Moscow (local 800 number (i.e. free)) that forwards to my phone.

Whatsapp is great, you pay less then 1$ to get it, you need to have either Iphone, Blackberry, Android or Nokia phone. Any message is absolutely free, you obviously need internet to be able to send/receive messages. To retrieve history, need to go to settings, email chat history and thats it.

this is good for skype logs

as for front loading it can all depend on the country you are from as to whether you need to do it or not. the main things to include are passport stamps (include bio page), boarding passes, and photos (i sent 6 all with date and location written on back). i also included a facebook screenshot of my profile showing "engaged to ...", a screenshot of a few facebook messages, a screenshot of skype showing a few messages and date and time of 1 video call, and i printed off 1 page from my skype log (the page that showed the time and date in the screenshot)... and i highlighted the date on both screenshot and skype log.

it is better then skype!! you can SMS Text, send 1.5 min voice message, send pics, send 1 min long videos, or send MAP locations.. all day every day!!

Yes - I have a few saved on my mailbox ))). I have some Skype snapshots at different points since the start of our LDR. And we have pictures of each other that we've exchanged. I'm not really as photogenic as she is though
