Yes. I think the listed processing time for K1 at VSC will no longer be 5 months at the next update. It would be almost impossible now. I just hope we can all be done with this by the end of July..

176 days since received date for me (1/18) and 174 from my NOA1 (1/20) It appears likely that I'll be looking at the 180s before approval...VJ Timelines haven't been too lucky today...And tomorrow is Friday.. we know what that means by now...slow down before the weekend.

I was shocked by the number of pending filers from both January and February at VSC lgor's list, and that onlt for VJs, so I can't imagine the total number of pending applicants including applicants from outside VJs who represent the majority of total number !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I-129F Sent: 02/20/12

Received at VSC: 2/27/12

NOA1 Dated: 2/27/12

NOA2 (Text): 9/26/12

NVC Received our file: 10/02/12

NVC Sent our file to the embassy: 10/04/12

Yes..Whatever is going on there right now doesn't seem to be improving. And approvals do come in waves sometimes..But honestly with the backlog they have now...they need consistency in addition to waves..I think there's going to be problems at VSC for a while...they don't even have the resources to address the number of pending files that will have accumulated these previous 2 months...

Paul, CSC is now processing March filers, while VSC get stucked with January filers. So frustrated

CSC might be processing March filers, but there are plenty of us CSC February filers who haven't gotten the NOA2 yet. Probably even a few January ones, too. I know they get backlogged, and I know it'll happen when it happens, but the order of how things are processed is frustrating. There is no reason my month should be seeing approvals before yours, and the same with March before us. The slow-poke adjudicators who lag behind the fast ones really need to get reprimanded by their boss!

Update: We received the RFE from Vermont today. My fiance had filed his divorce paper that he received from the county clerk's office. It was stamped and sealed and everything, but apparently they want the "Final Divorce Decree" only. Fortunately he has a copy of it (all 33 pages) and we are sending it back to them by overnight express tomorrow.

The RFE also states that from the date they receive our submission, it will take a minimum of 14 days to process the form, and if we haven't heard from them within 60 days, we may contact them. :bonk::blink::whistle:

Glad it was something easy to fix, like ours! Not to put a damper on anything...... but just so you know (with the way things are going in VSC) we sent ours back within 2 days and it was signed for on the12th May but the response email said they got on the 15th May and it took them til July 2nd to approved it. Now it seems to be in the abyss somewhere, VSC say they sent it directly to Dublin not NVC but we called NVC and they said it has to come to them and can take up to 30days and that VSC can not send it to Dublin, i have no idea where it is or what is happening, so the wait continues......

Yes...It's the lack of consistency that is often most frustrating. I'm just hoping we see at least 5 approvals on VJ here today...Don't want to go back to the 1-2 trickling again...

It took us from June 11 to July 5 to get it......I just kept calling every few days...I don't know of anything else you can do. They send them out in batches from CSC to NVC and so it just depends on when they send it and then it takes them a few days to enter them all into the system and assign the new case numbers. Thankfully, ours was sent out to the embassy quickly afterwards and is on its way here! So even though it took forever for our stuff to get to NVC, they didn't make us wait there! Good luck!!! I know how maddening it is to have approval but still not be able to do anything!!! So I think we only have one wait left--for the embassy to assign us the interview date which could take monthsssss more....

I know that many of you out there waiting for NOA2s don't want to hear about us complaining about the wait after NOA2 and I can understand why......but honestly, after getting NOA2 you think that things are actually starting to move and yet they aren't and it's just the same waiting...yea, okay, an approval is great but months more of waiting doesn't make it feel like we are closer to being together and in the US. It's just more of the same insanity of waiting for people to do their jobs. I mean the fact that our embassy tells us that it could take 3 to 4 months just for them to SCHEDULE the interview makes me want to cry....we were planning on an August interview and with that timeline, we will be lucky to have it in October or November....

I guess it will take them almost a month to get our stuff in their system. Well thanks a lot Beth n Tonio for the reply, hopefully ours will be in the system very soon too. And good luck with the interview, you are almost towards the end so just think positive and update us here in our forum :)
