Is Vermont that backed up or are the VJ Members not updating their profiles?!

What you mention are likely contributing factors. Additionally, not everyone filing petitions with USCIS is involved in the VJ forums. There are likely other factors as well.

Vermont's really backed up as far as most of us in Feb filers thread can tell :(

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we've abandoned this application

We married on Aug 24, 2013 in a small ceremony in MA

We'll be applying for a CR1 / IR1 visa as soon as we are able

I don't know how bad VSC is for K-1ers right now, but VSC is definitely that backed up for processing I-751 Removal of Conditions petitions. They are only just now starting to process the I-751 applications from October 2011, whereas the California Service Center [the only other service center doing I-751s] finished the vast majority of their October 2011 I-751 cases months ago.

This gives me hope that if our RFE is something minor :huh:

(which I am thinking it is - I scrutinized it immensely before we sent it off)

...that maybe we can get through this within a couple of weeks.

Hoping my fiance gets the RFE in the mail today. :whistle:

At least that's something. Today is my fiance's last day here until we get our K1, so we're calling and trying for tier 2 when I get home tonight. I definitely need some good news this week, as I'm sure we all do.

I am well away that everyone who applies with the USCIS is not on VJ. Wow, why is that people are always so rude & condescending when a question is asked!!!!! I just asked a simple a question. You didn't have to answer if you were going to be jerk about it!

People If you can't answer the question without being ugly. Please just dont answer it. This process is hard enough as is & negativity is definitely not needed.

Sending our regards as well guys.

I second that!!!....major best wishes for this week.

Photomile guess what.....our petition did not go to NVC, Tommy has just been on to both VSC and NVC and they confirmed that it went directly from VSC to Dublin for visa issuance, they actually said Our application is not longer in the United States,and gave no other details....So i call Dublin get transferred to a call centre and they tell me that i just have to wait for the Embassy to contact me in "due course"!!! I don't know if i should be worried or excited, the due course bit is a little scary is that a week a month or longer. Anyway just wanted to let you know, and anyone else as i guess all NOA2's don't work the same. And now i can't really update my VJ timeline as yet.....

Interview Monday 27th August 2012

207 days since NOA1.

Tommy arriving Saturday 25th August

Yipee!!!

APPROVED!!!!

Tommy went home 5th Sept

Visa arrived in mail 5th Sept

POE Dublin on Oct 3rd 2012
