Finally CSC emailed me back saying our petition is no longer under their jurisdiction (I assume it means they mailed it off?!) but also advised me to wait 90 days to contact NVC. Lol well I'm calling them tomorrow

well as much as we would be happy for this to work (and in a perfect world I am sure it does), USCIS doesn't treat everyone the same way as we noticed on several occasions... You are talking about the stage when you already got your NOA2 also rules at VSC seem to be a little different apparently...

BTW I think there is a mistake i your signature, shouldn't it be 01/03/12 etc?

There no difference if you call to USCIS as it main phone number and not related to CSC or VSC. It just depend on tier 1 rep. They should transfer to tier 2 rep. The only thing is once you get transferred there might be a long wait. The tier 2 rep can check where petition is and made some changes. I would say it always easy to hang up and call again to get other tier 1 rep who will transfer....

I decided to give it a shot a called NVC...To my surprise they received it, they gave me the SAR case number and told me it is going to be forwarded to the embassy shortly after they are done with it...and she said now it's just matter of days...the long wait is over....Since she was so nice I asked her about the delays we were/are experiencing at VSC....She did not want to elaborate much but stated that VSC is under a lot of pressure due to the higher than usual visa volume....anyhow...at least they are aware so hopeful they are doing something to fix it... :blink:

I'm going to call tomorrow and pretend I lost the call while waiting on a tier 2 rep and see if I can get through and get a service request. It shouldn't matter about how many visas they get. If they work consistently and quit farting around, they could've had us and feb done by now. They sat on their rears and put it off and put it off until now the work is piling up. Serves em right...

I just hate that we and other people are the ones who have to suffer for it...

PHEW! I was reading the other person's post about contacting USCIS again and getting a letter, etc. and I was going to get up and call USCIS in the morning! haha. Guess I will try NVC first.....90 days though?! Hahaha. I can't imagine anyone follows that!

Whoops! Little late on responding, but we got our service request on the 18th of May and the email on the 21st. Here's basically what the email said:

*We never got a hard copy letter, just an email. It's probably just an automated thing...

Thanks yeah i pretty much expect the automated thing but i would like to get a copy as i have a feeling that after those 15 days we will have to email Vermont then after 21 days head quarters etc... So it would be nice to have sth in writing.. I don't expect miracles at this stage, just want my NOa2 by the end of July... Otherwise another month postponed till i can finally see my love

very very very sad & frustrating, i'm so sorry. do whatever you can to distract yourself or cheer yourself up, do not let this inhumane process destroy your own humanity! buy yourself flowers, go for coffee with neetz, go to a yoga class... something different from your usual routine. it WILL all be okay. sorry that all any of us can do is offer platitudes... but thinking of you.

Thanks Kitty... it's hard... It's really hard...our worse nightmare happened to be reality. I am trying each and every day doing sth to cheer myself up but at this stage I am really running out of things and nothing really works... I almost feel like this girl from a movie called "Like crazy" although she overstayed so it was really hard for her to get a spouse visa... but I am really worrying and moving this year looks like a big "?" right now...

Thanks Kitty... it's hard... It's really hard...our worse nightmare happened to be reality. I am trying each and every day doing sth to cheer myself up but at this stage I am really running out of things and nothing really works... I almost feel like this girl from a movie called "Like crazy" although she overstayed so it was really hard for her to get a spouse visa... but I am really worrying and moving this year looks like a big "?" right now...

I totally get what you're going through Sabi... it doesn't feel like living right now, just waiting to live... I get so down, and everyone tells me (even my fiance) to cheer up... he says "patience my little grasshopper, patience" lol..

So I'm waiting (im)patiently!!

No not yet. London won't assign that until the medical which we can only book with an LND. Hopefully it'll be soon after Wednesday next week

yeah I know it is hard for you too...and I am sorry you got what we were all scared to get (RFE)...at this point it would probably add a few more tears to my daily routine ... I just want to be there before the end of the Year... we've had so many plans... I know we can do all this next year but it drives me nuts that I might not get there and have our big day on our anniversary as we planned... it was sort of important for us... and yes he tells me to be patient too, he is actually patient for the two of us. If I don't end up with some serious depression it will be good!

oh yeah that sucks with that case number... isn't this ironic? we have got everything! medical, police certs ( one of them will expire in September which I never expected would come down to this), etc! but no NOA2... getting the interview would be so easy and quick , yet we have to wait and it's 168th day today...

I hope you'll get your interview really quickly after your medical is done! Fingers crossed!
