I have gotten so much encouraging info here I thought I would share this for the January CSC filers who thought Calif was moving quicker than the rest!!

1/10/12 I129F Received

1/12/12 NOA1 Received in mail

1/13/12 "Touched"

6/21/12 Write to my Congressman

6/22/12 Called and put in Service Request

6/27/12 E-mail to DHS Ombudsman via FormDHS-7001

6/30/12 E-mail from USCIS on Service Request: "You should receive duplicate Approval Notice in 14 days"

7/2/12 E-mail from USCIS that petition has been approved.

Now it's on to the NVC and wait for our interview! Given that I have visited 8 times in the last 2 years, spent a lot of time with the family in the village, have heaps of photos, cards, e-mails etc I am optimistic that the interview will go smoothly. Thanks!

Congrats! :)

I keep checking here every day and hope to find a flood of approvals. This is really depressing even though we already got our NOA2 :( They really need to work on a different system.

Hope? 182 days? people keep talking about hope and faith etc... guys! we don't need hope or faith cause we know we will be approved! At this stage we just need to know WHEN!I know everyone means well but talking about believing, hoping and being strong isn't helping when we know you already have your approvals in your pockets and we are still waiting, most of us over 165 days now! ... I am extremely bitter right now like an old woman! At this very moment I am seriously thinking of dropping it all and just making my baby to move with me to Spain where I actually know for a fact I would be happy! I don't know if I want to move somewhere , where the government service is as poor as in my own country which I have left long time ago...

Sabi, I know it is unfair and unjust, but you CAN NOT give up now! Anything over the 5 mths is unbearable and i can totally understand why you would start to feel bitter but you have put so much into this process and given so much support to us all that you will be rewarded soon and NO WAY pull out, then they win... not you!! I believe you could be happy on a a park bench with your man but remember he would most likely have to go through all the same ####### to comply with EU laws and i dont think it would be any easier, just a thought!!

haha so true about the park bench! :)

I know I know... I have those days when I am all positive and happy but recently it's all coming down to being depressed... The weather doesn't help (OMG is there ever gonna be a sunny week in Ireland again??) plus I haven't seen Terry in over 4 months now and it just gets to me now.. At this stage , even when I am approved I won't be celebrating anymore or I won't be happy, cause it feels like someone is doing me a big favor here that I will be ever approved!

Is Terry coming over for your interview?? You know what you and I should meet up in Dublin and go for a few scoops or a few coffees pending on the mood??

No he is not coming (well at least we are trying to avoid that). He has only few days of holidays left and we want him to save that for when I come over so we can go to see his family in Miami and have a little break after all this madness!

If you are talking about Irish Coffee (that can help to see a little sun of our own) I am up for it! :)
