Oh San Francisco is lovely! Terry used to live there and has a lot of friends there and I would love to live there but he is saying it's too cold and too foggy haha! It's a great city though! So looks like we will be moving somewhere to the East Coast next year, where we can get proper 4 seasons :P

We agreed on Chicago as it would be probably easier for me to get a job in there with all the Polish community :) also it's close to winter resorts for snowboarding plus connections to Europe are much better (direct flights)... so yeah most probably Chicago but I might still convince him to move back to California :)

Seattle is a constant rain, are you sure after living in Wales you want it? Or is it that you think you're going to miss rain that much?? :P

at the end of the day, we just have each other :) no one else would ever understand what we are going through! One day one person is down , other day another! but we are hanging in there because we have a little support and we find a comfort here :) my fiance thinks I am down sometimes because of this website and reading all the stories here but the truth is, if not you guys, I would be really depressed by now, by not knowing what the heck is happening and I would feel like the only one going through a hell of waiting...

Same for me ! Thank god i have all of you guys ! Otherwise i would go nuts ! Touched on 02/08 and still no activity on mine ! Come on VSC you can do it !!

mini cooper is basically the only 'european sized' car i've ever seen in new orleans! that and a few smart cars and priuses. i just refuse to have a gas-guzzling monster vehicle, even if petrol actually seems pretty cheap to me over there!

I agree, I am extremely grateful for our January family. We all feel each other's pain and can share in each other's joy. It's awesome. My fiance also thinks maybe I spend too much time on this site, and I tried to stay away, but I do get comfort reading everyone's posts.

I think we discussed about 50 pages ago about the whole meeting in Texas. :P It doesn't matter to me, I'm up for wherever the majority wants to meet, but I definitely thinks it's an awesome idea!! :D If we do meet in Texas then perhaps some of us locals can be the ones that take care of finding the best place for everyone to meet and stay! :)

My fiance was born in California but has lived in Texas since he was 8 years old... He's a Texan through and through.. we won't be moving... lol. But so far I have visited there 5 times and I absolutely love it there. Being from Canada, I hate our cold winters, so this is going to be different! I'm really looking forward to the move! :)

So c'mon USCIS, approvals for everybody today so we can get on with it!! Yeeeee Hawwww!! :P:dance:

I would like us to move further up the east coast, maybe to Connecticut or Pennsylvania. I haven't explored this part of the country much, but it would be easier to get a direct flight to Europe and would hopefully have more job opportunities. This would be after we have the AOS out of the way and we have a little bit of savings, I think. I don't even know the best way to go about moving states :)

As a fellow 1/17 NOA1 person, I hope today or next week is our time. It's nice to see that some NOA1s from 1/17 are approved, and I'm definitely ready for mine!
