Yes. this was not a K1 week at all. They have some other mission. All I want is for them to get that done now. And then focus on us. Get some of these K1s out of the way!

Unbelievable. I think there is something wrong with VSC, looks like they are not processing any I-129f since last Friday. 4th of July is coming soon so I am so worried about our applications.

ha yess. I'm already prepared for the vaccine report to be an adventure. I think she is going to focus on it after we return from Dominican. I'm hoping the physician in her village will be cooperative. We had to order another police certificate as the one she had issued expires July 30th and I know it's not looking at all possible for an interview by then. Hoping the NVC stage will go by a little more quickly so we can get on this interview.

Lidia didn't say anything to me that her police has expire date on it? But i never asked... Did Julia say it expires?? The consulate site says they are good for 1 year. I think she got it end may.

Yes. It was quite a source of confusion for us but apparently her certificate had an expiration date of 3 months after the date of issue. We tried to be proactive and get it a little early since it took about 30 days to receive it. Then as the months ticked away we found maybe that wasn't such a good idea. Her police department and the lawyer both advised us to bring a certificate that has not expired to the interview. I don't know if this is something specific to Dnepropetrovsk oblast or something going on for all the certificates now. The embassy website does state that a police certificate is valid for one year, but we decided to just plan on getting a replacement due to the conflicting responses...She'll have a new one in about 25 days. And hopefully will not be needing another.

I agree with you. I remember in the beginning we were all excited and talking about how early we could get approvals, etc. I don't think I'm angry, mad or depressed. I'm just disappointed. I hope it all works out right in the end and we get visa approvals in a timely manner.

Yes WDM. It was painful for to finally accept it as well. I do not expect anything before July 9th now. Anything earlier will be a very pleasant surprise to me..Now if things pick up significantly again I might revisit my expectations but we would need something pretty significant..I just don't see that happening for the next 2 weeks. Just gotta hold on a little longer..

I just hope they can get most of us taken care of by the end of July now. It's a far cry from May as we had hoped. But I pray things don't continue like this. There's nothing more depressing to be upwards of 160 days with no end in sight...

It's pretty quiet in here this morning. I guess everyone is feeling the same way, that nothing is going to start happening until after the week of July 4th.

I was hoping for some movement the last two days of this week, unfortunately it looks like VSC hasn't done anything at all with K1's this week... sooooo dissapointing..

And to think we pay, and pay dearly for this Disservice!

They should offer a 10% discount for each day they go past the 5 month mark...

That might light a fire under their asses..

I can't believe that there's no work on the K1's at all. I hope that the employees who work at home take some over the weekend so we can at least see something next week. Every day is another day closer, but every day is also stretching out the 2-3 months my fiance will be waiting to get an interview in London.

I'm feeling a bit hopeless today. I even called USCIS to see if I could find out anything about what's going on there. Even though it says in their recording that they will talk to the petitioner, the beneficiary or the lawyer, when I finally did get a CSR on the line she would not give me any information about our case. She says she can only speak to the petitioner (I am the beneficiary).

My fiance is going to call them on Monday when he has the day off work, while he has me on skype.
