may as well try, they obviously received a batch today! also, you guys all use google voice when you're in the US/does your US partner? you can make completely free phonecalls, and fiance's 1 hour wait on the line today didn't cost a penny!

Yea well, we are CSC so who knows about that batch....the lady said after more than 10 minutes wait that "Immigration seems to be really slow right now about getting these in to us because we don't usually get many calls and we have been getting A LOT lately.......so I would try calling next week and if we don't have it by then, you can send us a copy of the approval and we can do a search for it." Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well, she was nice and now I know what to do if I need to....:(

Guys, always please post what's going on with your case. At least for me, I'm not bothered by it and glad to see the status of your cases. That's what this thread is for, all January filers no matter their status. :) Keep us up to date!

Thanks for the encouragement! I was hoping that people felt that way but I can soooo understand the frustration of not wanting to hear about other people moving along with things while you are stuck at square one.....but really, it depends a lot on the Embassy after you get NOA2 that some people who don't have theirs yet will probably be together and in the US before we will....well, we are together in the same country since I am waiting to move back until this is all finished--can't afford 2 plane tickets for me!!! Sooooo I feel like my life is totally on hold since I can't really look for a new job or an apartment for us or anything w/o knowing dates....yea, okay, I could go back and MAYBE get a job and earn back what I would spend on the plane tickets but who knows with the way things are...could be months before I get something......and my current job is online and in US $, so it's okay for now but not enough to live on in the US....ugh. I will stop. Can't stand thinking about all of this anymore! I am going crazy with all of this waiting!!! I know that everyone is! We are all in the same boat of I-129Fs.......

Yes. It almost seems like they have decided to not work the K1s this week....I'm not expecting anything until July now. I think they are closing out fiscal year with resources directed elsewhere. Thank God June is over this week. This was not our month...But luckily it will get done. And I think when the approvals do start it will be huge. They'll just direct all their resources toward catching up...It's the whole swing in processing times that has occurred for a very long time. Even though 4th of July is next week, if they are focusing on K1s it will still be a much better rate for adjudications than what we are seeing now...Just wish we could have had a little activity this week :(

(from an outside perspective without skin in the game anymore)... Perhaps all the time spent on the 129f is fielding calls from congress? I'm sure they look at the message boards once in a while, and last thing they want is the flood of calls after an (apparent) success story, like this week for example. Just my theory so i don't think they would encourage this by creating more. I would say it either doesn't make a difference or worse. Probably best to stick with the level 1 hu-bot and put in the service request when they make the recommendation. Grandma always use to say "don't stir up the sh*t cause it stinks".

and I wish we applied earlier than we actually did... I am preparing myself mentally for October, seriously it will take us almost a year to get a visa... if we only knew that when we started...

Yes, makes you wonder if the extra $15 for the express overnight mail service would have made a difference??? Looks like you sent in express mail though..

Hey guys just got our London case number from the NVC.. 13 total days from noa2, so there is hope that once you get approved things will start to move quicker.. And it's worth calling before 15 business days like they say. Wasn't sure whether to post cos I know you're all so fed up - but like I say, at least you know that if you could approval tonight you could have a case number pretty soon!

Great!!!

It will feel like things are moving now

I am looking at wedding cakes online now....and decided while thinking about colors--since our late summer/early fall wedding may now be a winter one......that I don't give a damn if my colors will be considered summer colors...hell, why not make it a summer-themed wedding in the dead of winter! Could be fun...so I was kind of waiting to start deciding on things like colors, cakes, dresses, etc. until we had a better idea of a date but screw it, I am not going to let these damn fools totally ruin it! I am going to use the bright colors and find where to get the fun summer flowers and have my "nice weather" wedding even if it is in December or January! Hahaha. I still will be really super pissed if it can't be outside but at least I can still do a bright theme no matter what people say about! Hmph. Guess I am taking control of what I am able to be in control of.....small as it is ;)

Yes, i was a bit afraid to speak as well. Just feel so bad about talking progress when others are suffering. Going to try and schedule interview tomorrow if Lidia is able to confirm her medical date. Hey Paul, did you ask Julia about her vaccine report? Lidia has one, but it was not stamped. She has been tracking down doctors (4 doctors) for awhile now and they always brush her off and tell her later. She finally has 3 of the 4 stamps needed, and hopefully the last doctor said come back monday. But just to let you know, the vaccine report is suppose to be stamped by the administering doctor. (ie, if she has report, it likely is not stamped apparently for internal Ukraine purpose, but should be for medical per the instructions from the link i sent you awhile back)

just done my typical check...no movement...not one approved , no RFE, one big fat silence! I am 90% convinced right now that this week we won't see much happening.. if that thing with the fiscal year is true, we might start seeing little movements back on Monday... till then I wouldn't count on much...I know it has never been that quiet and that depressing as it is this week but hang in there! :)

ha yess. I'm already prepared for the vaccine report to be an adventure. I think she is going to focus on it after we return from Dominican. I'm hoping the physician in her village will be cooperative. We had to order another police certificate as the one she had issued expires July 30th and I know it's not looking at all possible for an interview by then. Hoping the NVC stage will go by a little more quickly so we can get on this interview.

Yes..It's unfortunate. But it will help them in the end. They stopped drinking the Kool Aid and are finally recognizing the facts. It should save them some disappointment when the estimated VJ timeline dates of approval come and pass...First 2 weeks of July (and maybe even 3 if the inactivity continues into the holiday week) will be needed to finish off a good portion of January petitions. February filers at VSC are going to have to endure some of the after effects as this delay trickles down...not sure how it will affect later petitions but will probably all come down to how long they focus on the K1s again. Could be a K1 kind of rest of the summer..

Yes. this was not a K1 week at all. They have some other mission. All I want is for them to get that done now. And then focus on us. Get some of these K1s out of the way!
