Hello January Filers I hope you had a great weekend! Someone post about USCIS updating the processing volumes and trends.. i'm confused...

What do you understand in this chart?

I looked at it on my iPhone and I understood nothing.....

It basically shows how many petition have been received each month and how many completed, where completion is just a total of completed forms in this month but not necessary means that those completed forms come from that particular month (it's just a total of what they managed to process from what they have outstanding). Hope that helps

I talked to my attorney and this is what he seaid, verbatim:

"I have a case that I filed in October that has not been approved. I called

USCIS in March to ask for an update since it had been over 5 months. Three weeks later I got a notice that the I-129F was being forwarded to the

National Benefit Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri for faster processing....The last I-129F that I had approved was approved in December and it only took 4 months and 1 week, so, it may not be that long afterall."

Well, we can only hope....Now let's see a bunch of December and Jan filers get NOA2s this week....

Yeah, VCS has been showing that off and on since last Thursday (I think), but the common thought is that it is either a glitch in their system or it could be referring to petitions filed recently.

If you analyze the dashboard data, a significant increase in the submission of I-129F petitions occurs each March (between February and March for 2010, 2011, and a similar trend in 2012). It is very likely that any change in processing times will only affect petitions submitted during this influx. They will want to continue to approve as many of the previously submitted petitions as possible because the backlog will only grow if they don't address it. They will not suddenly have our petitions being approved months from now. I'm confident that we are all very close and very safe. So if there's any merit to this idea of an increased processing time, it will most likely be affecting March filers and beyond. July also appears to be another popular month with an increase in submissions. March was quite significant however. It's interesting to see. But hopefully they will do something about the influx and assign more adjudicators because it's unfortunate for anyone who has recently filed or will be filing soon.

I'm becoming so impatient!!

My job wants me to keep my contract with them if we don't get the visa soon and I don't want to be out of a job for too long during our move from Honduras to the US. So USCIS, approve faster!

page 3 is just not good enough for a group as close to success as us jan filers how we all doing? anyone thinking about squeezing a trip to the US in before noa2? i just found some incredibly cheap flights leaving thurs and got super excited, but my fiance just spent $1200 on flights to london for june, so i guess i should save my money for doing fun stuff when he's here. lhr-jfk for £300 on lastminute.com though, if any brits are interested!

I am going to visit my fiance in 2 weeks.. Super excited... staying there for 19 days total.

I used my airmiles to book this trip... and I have gathered all kinds of evidence of ties

back to Canada to show them at POE, just in case they try to turn me away (including a copy

of my NOA1).
