Dodo&rooma, in order for your congressman to discuss your case, you have to sign/fill out a privacy release form. They will ask that you fill it out before they will do anything with your case. It's kinda like HIPAA in the medical field. They won't discuss your medical problems/conditions with anyone until you sign a release of information. Same thing with your I129F case. Hope that helps :)

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

Exactly. I'm mailing a request to my senator, and the privacy form was linked on her website. This may be true for some people's senators or congressmen, or they may have to fax or mail you one.

I'm at 153.4 days since my NOA1 date of Jan20th. I think before the end of the month would be reasonable. The system definitely needs some work, it's far from perfect.

Truth be told, we don't know exactly what goes on at VSC. I'd like to think they are doing the best they can with available resources. They are human after all, and must realize how hard this is for people like us who must wait, wait, and wait some more.

It seems every time I think we've hit our estimated adjudication timeframe on VJ... it gets pushed out one day. :(

Now it says:

*Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 22, 2012 and July 2, 2012*.

Even VJ is now estimating longer than a 5 month wait... I give up.. I think I need to take a break from all of this before I go stark raving mad!

And seeing people from Feb getting approvals doesn't help me feel any better. :( I think I need to focus on something else... something that is within my control. No matter how many times a day we check, it's out of our control. :(
