I called yesterday at 9 days...and the lady was like "No, Maam, that file has not reached us yet. It can take up to 15 days for them to get here." Ugh. I just thought what the heck, it can't hurt....but nothing. The faster it gets there, the faster we can get our interview date from this slowwwwwwww embassy!!!!!! Hoping for a miracle with an interview in August......so wanted to move in early September!!! My man will die in the cold if we don't move until later---at least if we arrive in warm weather, he will gradually adjust when the chillier weather starts setting in! hahaha

Called NVC today, 15 days. Case received yesterday and already forwarded to consulate... Also they give me the KEV #.

I was going to call today but I can't find my cell phone (lol, lost in our mess of luggage from Roatan) but anyway I'll probably wait until Friday to call NVC. I'm anxious and I don't want Tegus to take 2 months to even schedule his interview. I'm really hoping for an August interview as well!

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum of January filers...I filed 14 January 2012 and the rest you will se from my timeline...I am happy for everyone who has received their NOA2, the worst is over and all you have to do for now is confirm the CO's decision at the embassy so that you can have your visa in hand.

I am sad because I thought by today, I would be receiving news that our NOA2 is on its way in the mail and that our Visa has been approved...Just tired of waiting and want to be with my fiance already, to get married and start our lives...

This is so frustrating, I joined the february 2012 filers forum and some of them have started receiving their NOA2s unlike me and I kinda feel drained and tired of all this waiting...But what to do?!!!

I am still waiting and hoping, praying that mine will be next and that as time goes on the process can be shortened , so that people don't have to go through this to be with their loved ones. God speed to all of us, Congratulations to everyone who has received their NOA2 :thumbs: and to all those waiting like me, let's just hang in there, we are next in line.

Glad to know that part of the process will be much more bearable. Called VSC today about case status. Looks like their consistently reporting 1/09 processing date right now...So even to file a service request would require about 2 more weeks...oh well..the wait continues..Definitely looks like this week is out again...Not expecting much..

haha :D

Cheers! Thought no one noticed my little question :) we are trying that next week...

Called VSC today and got a tier 2 Sabi. He was actually very pleasant to deal with and was actually prepared to file a service request...However, VSC would not let it go through because they are reporting a processing date of 1/09...which puts all of us still within processing time. Next step would be Congressman sometime next week for me...But looks like service requests will not get the job done anytime soon. Said to call in 2 weeks and then they could try to do service request again..They seem to have been working on early January forever! gah..

Yes. ha. probably early next week. Then I'm leaving for the Dominican that next weekend (June 30th). And I'll be gone for 11 days. It's about the only place Julia and I can enjoy some time together outside of Ukraine. So will salvage at least something from this summer. Because it looks like by the time she gets here, summer will be just about over..So I'll leave it in my Congressman's hands..I'm thinking approval will happen next week. Didn't someone say they were working on January 1st at one point last week? If they were reporting that date a week ago then maybe we'll advance those next couple of days quickly (about 7 days worth of petitions excluding weekends) so next week is probably the next best realistic chance for approval. I think this week is just about done. Looks like the new average for processing is in the 160s..saw we have a 1/10 NOA2 today. looks to be about where they're at..

ha yes. I told her to be prepared for the sun down there. It's not what she's used to at all. Congrats on the speedy processing at NVC. Hopefully, the petition will make it through their fast for me too. And maybe I can still pull off an August interview. But for now, I'll just control what I can. So Dominican here we come aha.

That's just freaking ridiculous!!!! Wednesday will be 5 months for me. I want to call my congressman on Thursday and see if they can just find out where my file is, if they can tell me it's lost in a box or on an adjucator's desk. Maybe they'll find all the other 2/9 touches as well... I'd be calling congress if I were you. I couldn't stand it to be 160 days n still not a peep from them!

Im still waiting too.

I wend once to dominican... missed a bit of block on the feet they just fried. I was also crisp after day 1 and basically covered up the rest of the trip. That equator sun will get you totally. Seriously look into some 100 SPF and put on 30 minutes before you go out and also again later. WOW!!

I think you'll have it this week K.C. They're apparently working on 1/09. Hopefully they'll get you through by Friday. And Congressman should seal the deal with it. especially if your petition is after that date.

Wow. thanks for advice man. I've never been there. And I certainly don't want to get fried. Definitely going to buy the strongest sun block I can get.
