Just out of curiosity , how do you get to speak to a person when ringing USCIS number?

When I called I think it was the first option to check on your case, then yes that you knew your case number, it will prompt you to enter it (include the eac at the beginning) after it tells you what you already know (pending) it will ask if you have a problem and I think that's option...3? And it'll transfer you to a real human that sounds like a drone.

its pretty nice over there, i spent the last winter and spring there, the weather was awesome. the people are warmth and friendly. its a wonderful place to raise a family  the summer can get really hot and humid there. was hitting the 100s last summer when i was there with her

That sounds nice, I am quite used to hot and humid summers as I come from Italy, tho been living in the UK for the past 5 years. I hope that our plans go well and we might be moving to Manchester, NH mid next year! At the moment even a cold winter in Alaska would be good, the important thing is being together soon!!! :)

What you mean by tier2?

Tier 2 is basically the "second level." You have the first level who can give you basic updates, help change your address, or fix a name on a sheet of paper. These are the people you talk to when you actually get through to a human on the uscis number. Tier 2 can help escalate service requests and explain issues in more detail, and probably see more on their system. "level 1" probably can as well, but since they have 11 questions and 13 answers to choose from, they generally just want you off the phone. Tier 2 will at least put in a bit of effort, lol.

*at least, that's what I've gotten from my experience.

What you mean by tier2?

What you mean by tier2?

In customer service or like technical support they are sometimes organized into tiers or levels. Its suppose to help with efficiency. Most general questions are answered by a Tier 1 person and that resolves the problem, but if you need more specialized help or in-depth answers you need to be "escalated" to a Tier 2 person. It can keep going up to more specialized people depending on how a company (or government) has it setup.

If you aren't getting answers to your questions or help with your problem, then you ask to speak to a Tier 2 person since you need more in-depth help.

I called yesterday at 9 days...and the lady was like "No, Maam, that file has not reached us yet. It can take up to 15 days for them to get here." Ugh. I just thought what the heck, it can't hurt....but nothing. The faster it gets there, the faster we can get our interview date from this slowwwwwwww embassy!!!!!! Hoping for a miracle with an interview in August......so wanted to move in early September!!! My man will die in the cold if we don't move until later---at least if we arrive in warm weather, he will gradually adjust when the chillier weather starts setting in! hahaha
