Just out of curiosity , how do you get to speak to a person when ringing USCIS number?

i'm not sure if you guys covered this yesterday but there were two approvals on 19/06/2012 for cases within my little 'block' (received jan 13, noa2 date 18th) - yes, i still log into uscis every day post-noa2! so sad!

Anyway, things are happening! I hope you all reallllllllly soon (like, now).

Dang it! I was hoping to log on here this am and see approved approved but nothing! Absolutely nothing again today :(

Our K-1 Visa Journey

1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

9/17/12: Received Visa in the mail

i'm not sure if you guys covered this yesterday but there were two approvals on 19/06/2012 for cases within my little 'block' (received jan 13, noa2 date 18th) - yes, i still log into uscis every day post-noa2! so sad!

Anyway, things are happening! I hope you all reallllllllly soon (like, now).

Maybe they'll finally be breaking into the middle of the month..Just need them to get into the 1/16 - 1/20 receipt dates. That where most of us were left in the dust..Seems they've been cleaning up quite a few RFE'd petitions..Well after today that will make 155 days for me..Monday is when I really get nervous..160 is not something I wanted to have to say...

i wish, i'm a while away from that! not even tried ringing NVC yet, it's only been 6 days! andrew gets back to new orleans tonight (left my house this morning :( ) and will hopefully have the hard copy noa2 waiting for him. he'll try ring nvc tomorrow but doubt they'll have anything to say for another week or two. i'm expecting a september interview date to be issued in august.

oh I am going to be so disappointed when I wake up tomorrow to no email with NOA2! I remember when we started this process I thought 5 months would take forever and that once we pass that mark, we will have some sort of an idea when would we start our Journey together... now that we passed it,I feel even worse not knowing what and when is going to happen...

Hang on Sabi and Knope. Maybe there will be a flood of approvals by the end of this week to make up for the last 2 horribly depressing days of silence. At least there'd better be or I will go insane! It's a good thing I don't live in Vermont. I'd be tempted to pay the center a visit and see wth they do all day and why this process is so ridiculous and scatter brained.... :(

I think it's hilarious that we pay to wait for god knows how long....

Too bad you don't get a refund for wasted time and inconvenience after the 5 month mark. That'd push em to get it done in a timely manner...

Thank you, I'm trying my best to stay positive. I get excited everytime my phone tells me I have an e-mail or a text, and it's never the one I want. There have to be approvals this week or they're putting themselves further behind and in a position for a ton of congressional inquiries. We should get some sort of refund after five months. That's a big check to write to have your petition sit there while people that filed a few weeks to a few months after you get approved while you wait.

this is all crazy, been looking at this list and there are 50 petitions each for Jan 18 & 19 that havent seen any movements but yet, peeps in feb getting approval. i know we are all selfish in our own ways but there is no way that can be fair, esp when they said they process in the order they receive

Totally OT but noticed you live in Manchester NH, my fiance would like to move there once he is done with Alaska. How's it over there?

its pretty nice over there, i spent the last winter and spring there, the weather was awesome. the people are warmth and friendly. its a wonderful place to raise a family :yes: the summer can get really hot and humid there. was hitting the 100s last summer when i was there with her
