Been hanging low lately hoping it would bring us some better luck... Following that rule of not watching a pot to boil... Well, my theory did not work. We are at 145 days and still no NOA2. Cograts to all of you who have been approved! kicking.gif BUT. I almost had a melt down tonight when I saw a new approval from a February filer!!! I feel bad saying this, because good for them, truly truly... BUT what about us!!!!! HEY!!!! VSC how about all of us January people!!! Sorry, had to vent, hope all is well with all of you. Heading to Ireland on July 12th because I can't stand waiting any longer... headbonk.gif

Exactly! How is that even possible? Why did they skip on us?????

My guess is that adjucators already got boxes with our petitions assigned, some are faster so they went to pick up new boxes , some are slower and still processing other petitions while our wait for them to moved to... Guess guess guess, that's all we have throughout this process.

Its 5 months for us today, I'm not expecting much though, January 17 is as far as they went by yesterday so far... As much as I wish I was wrong, I think my week might be next week...

Good luck! We all need it at this stage!

If only I had known...I would've gotten married in the US after two months and applied for AOS! I would've been with my honey the whole time. But this is what we get for doing things the "right" way. Waiting 5 months just to be approved is ridiculous...I wouldn't mind it so much if it was the end of the process but it's not.

That's exactly what I am saying...My fiance was trying to convince me to do that back in January but I insisted on doing it the proper way... well here is our reward :(

I wouldn't mind it if we were actually approved in those 5 months... but it looks like it is very doubtful we will !

Well I guess we'll find out today since it's 5 months today for both of us. I gotta admit I'm not very hopeful though. I hate that some people are clueless about this whole thing and get married on a tourist visa or under the VWP and have no problem applying for AOS after that and here we are waiting 5 months later. This system is broken on so many levels...

yes, well not much is fair in life anyways ;)

It's funny how California has done over 50% petitions now and Vermont is still way below that... when few weeks ago California was dragging its foot... oh well we can only sit and wait, this is the worst part of this whole process, not being able to do anything else than that...

Well it is Wednesday, half way through this week and no approvals for our thread.... :(

I am hopeful for all of you that are at 5 months today, that by some sort of miracle that you get your approvals today... it seems that is what it's going to take.

Didn't last week take this same route? Almost nothing at the beginning of the week and then they started churning them out Thursday and Friday? I'm hoping that is what's going to happen again and our thread will be flooded with approvals today and the rest of the week. I am keeping hopeful guys... that's all we have!! :)

Yes. Thursday had a ton of approvals last week...Hoping I can get out of this week with NOA2....Monday will be 160 days for me...1/18 receipt date to 6/25 ...gah. this is awful..so next week I'll get my Congressman on the phone. see if we can locate the petition at least. Want to know it's not collecting dust!! Things are just insane at VSC right now. Still can't believe it all happened this way. The whole process was a complete disappointment. Now just to determine if a service request in addition to the congressional call will be necessary...Always worry about slowing things down...but...I don't think it could be much worse right now. aha

No approval for me yet either, and I'm at about the same timeline you are. I agree that the getting married on a tourist visa option is ridiculous. It basically shows that if you're ignorant of laws, you get a free pass, but if you do research and get married on this option, your spouse can get deported. I chose not to go this route because I didn't want the slightest chance of having our AOS denied. All I can hope for is doing things the legal way paying off in the form of an NOA2 this week. They were working on the 17th yesterday, so there's hope.
