I hope against hope that all you 17th filers get your approvals this evening. I can't deal with another depressing day. I was looking forward to getting on here and seeing a ton of approvals Monday and today and instead there's diddly squat... COME ON VSC!!! & CSC!!!

Our K-1 Visa Journey

1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

Agreed! I saw someone approved today on the forum at around 100 days and I'm close to 160.

That's just freaking ridiculous!!!! Wednesday will be 5 months for me. I want to call my congressman on Thursday and see if they can just find out where my file is, if they can tell me it's lost in a box or on an adjucator's desk. Maybe they'll find all the other 2/9 touches as well... I'd be calling congress if I were you. I couldn't stand it to be 160 days n still not a peep from them!

Well... I guess at least they're doing something besides twiddling their thumbs sitting on files. I'd feel a lot better if I saw this thread explode with approvals though... Hoping against hope that tonight there will be a flood of them!

I could kick the stupid Olympics too. Why should embassy interviews slow down for that????? I work in a hospital and we don't get to slow down for natural disasters or when things seem to run amuck around us! Why should they get to slow down???? If they want to be off to see the Olympics then they should come in earlier in the morning but don't slow down interviews! Maybe it won't be that way by the time all of us London people are approved :(

All you London people come back and tell us when your appt date is and how long it took you to get it to settle my fears? :(

May 9, 11. Met on dating site Filipinacupid

chat 2x a day since

Dec 23, 11. met in Cebu, traveled to Balamban.

Dec 25th 11 asked her fathers permission to marry her in Cebuano. Engaged.

Jan 1, 12. Came home.

Jan 18th 12, I-129f recieved at vsc

Jan 25th 12, first noa

Feb 9 12, touched

July 2, 12 approved

July 7, 12 recieved noa2

July 16th, called nvc recieved case #

Aug 1st, CFO completed

Aug 16th, Interview date and Approved

Hello everyone mine is jan13th and still no movement in their online status site. :( and guys I'm worried for me and my fiance tried to sign up at the uscis site for sms notification it wud prompt us 2 errors one is that the receipt number is invalid. Cud this happen? Is there anyone here who has EAC at the beginning of their receipt? Please feedback guys. I wanna cry now.. Thank you so much..

Yes, i could not sign up either. Keep trying "my case status", eventually it will go from "cannot be found" to Post Decision Activity. Your file is there, just not accessable to the public or to get the sms.

Off topic but OKC Thunder are playing Miami heat in the NBA finals and OKC has an 11 point lead!! Ggggoooo Thunder! :) hope they win the NBA finals and hope to see more approvals here after tonight. Maybe their system is just behind like some of you had said....

Hahaha I think the grass grows faster!!!! Unfortunately.... :( lol and at least with the grass you can see progress. There's no rhyme or reason to this ridiculous mess of a system.....

Crossing my fingers for everyone, I wouldn't wish 160+ days on anyone... It'll come when you least expect it though! (A watched pot never boils, right?) I know the feeling of "maybe today, maybe this week, maybe next week," but on the one day we didn't expect approval it caught us off guard, even with an inquiry we didn't expect it. It will come, and the feeling of it surprising you when you least expect it is totally worth it.

Been hanging low lately hoping it would bring us some better luck... Following that rule of not watching a pot to boil... Well, my theory did not work. We are at 145 days and still no NOA2. Cograts to all of you who have been approved! kicking.gif BUT. I almost had a melt down tonight when I saw a new approval from a February filer!!! I feel bad saying this, because good for them, truly truly... BUT what about us!!!!! HEY!!!! VSC how about all of us January people!!! Sorry, had to vent, hope all is well with all of you. Heading to Ireland on July 12th because I can't stand waiting any longer... headbonk.gif
