Im 17th...lets hope that i am approved and not rfe...my status is still at initial review though...

i dont want an RFE but if it is for anything, i hope its not for lost documents, i would feel better knowing its my fault and not because someone @ USCIS is so stupid and not careful.......they lost my docs and then over 5 months later, they just discovering it and then gonna set me back for maybe another month. that #@$% hurts

Yes. I would be so pissed off. The only way I would receive an RFE is for lost documents or my lawyer making some massive error (25 years in the business with a focus on K1s and I-130s so unlikely). Plus quadruple checked everything myself....But hopefully the RFEs are not coming to the average VJ user. I think we all did a lot more research and put more time into assembling our petitions properly. Only thing we can't control is a mess up on the receiving end...

I would be pissed off too if they were to send me a RFE now cos they lost my documents... (or maybe they just got disintegrated u know, been sitting there for such a long time!!!) but I would still prefer this kind of RFE than being totally neglected and be left under god knows what box for much longer..

KC don't write your congressman a letter! CALL them :) you will be waiting on them to get the letter in the mail then they will have to respond with a privacy release and then you have to respond with that. Call their office. I did that and the secretary emailed me the form, I printed and filled it out and then she said I could fax or email it back to her. I chose to scan it as a PDF and email it back to her. You could also fax it from your work office. I bet they wouldn't mind.

I was thinking about the RFE's too.... It's really too bad that they don't say "this adjucator has your file, you may email or fax the missing info directly to him at _____"

I just think this whole process is ridiculous! I am wishing now that I had just been the one to move to the UK and not the other way around. It is ridiculous that you're basically punished with a yr+ processing time for doing things the legal way and not hopping the border and hiding out like a lot of people do. I wish there was something we taxpayers and voters could do to improve this stupidly ridiculous system.... They have til Thursday and then I'm calling congress office

This week has just been stinking depressing and it's not fair that February people are being approved before us!

Agreed! I saw someone approved today on the forum at around 100 days and I'm close to 160.
