Well even though our 5 month mark isn't for another 10 days... this is still an excruciating wait. :(

I hate weekends and look forward to Mondays... so I guess I'm happy today and hoping that this too is our week. :unsure:

I am very very grateful for VJ... and especially our little thread.. it is great to celebrate the victories together

and agonize over the wait together... At least I feel more informed about the whole process and can relate to all

of you..

Today is the five month mark for me as to when they received it. I'm wishing so hard for an NOA2 this week so I can move on in the process. I have no idea how slow London will be, so I'm anxious to move on to the next step.

I'm glad it's EURO 2012 on right now as that takes my mind away from all this waiting but once it is over July 1, I hope we are all approved and ready for the next step :) I absolutely cannot wait when we all start talking about getting ready for our interviews!

I am collecting my medical results tomorrow so at least one thing out of the way! I got my Irish police cert last Friday and I can't believe they used my second name as first and first as second! Those people should be super careful when rewriting your details! So I have to ask them for a new one to avoid any problems at the interview... so frustrating!

I wish you could get your medical done before NOA2 in every country. It sure would save some time and allow to focus and your interview only.

well it's a bit risky to do it early like some of us here did, simply because it has validity of one year... with this process you never know how much waiting time will you end up with so they are right in other countries not to allow people to do it earlier. On the us embassy website here in ireland it clearly says that we shouldn't schedule the medical before we get our case number but do we listen? haha NO!

yes it is random... some people get it during the day, some at night and some early in the morning :) it is all a big mystery! :)

I think it is. I've seen people post that they got theirs in the middle of the night, the middle of the day, and closer to 5:00 EST.

It seems to be after the business day is over. I received the NOA1 notification at 10:54PM and the NOA2 at 7PM...both times Pacific.

Interview: October 24, 2012 - Review | Visa Delivered: October 31, 2012



Part Two: Entry and Adjusting Status:

Wedding: December 1, 2012 | Social Security: New cards received on December 7, 2012.
AOS Package (I-485/I-765/I-131) NOA1: February 19, 2013 | Biometrics Appt.: March 18, 2013

We received the NOA1 email at about 10 minutes after midnight on a Friday night. So you never know when it's going to come... I guess that's why I keep checking our case status at the USCIS website... :whistle:

1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed
