18 July 2012: LND case number

25 July 2012: sent packet 3 docs

14 Aug 2012 8am: interview: APPROVED!

Mar 15, 2013: EAD/AP combo card received!

Mar 21, 2013: Interview in Anchorage..APPROVED!

3 petitions around mine got approved the past two days, one got RFE'd and 4 are still pending, including mine. All from January 20. I'm REALLY hoping to hear something early next week or I'm gonna start going crazy :(

Guys just to give you an update:

I was travelling to Philly yesterday and the officer was so mean!

He kept confusing me and kept saying where's you travel parole, how did you meet your husband, are you getting married in slovakia or here, so you work in America lol

I had to correct him like 3 times about the husband thing. I said well he is not my husband yet and he said (mean voice): but he is gonna be!

So after a long talk he let me in! Not a pleasant experience.

Anyway congratulations to the ones who got noa2s:)

The petition before and after ours (and ours) are still in initial review... but the eight right after us are all approved (with one RFE) late last week or early this week. I'm still hoping to be in that batch... but as time ticks on I'm beginning to wonder.. :unsure:

this is freaking crazy... if i don't hear anything next week im contacting my congressman.

i heard it can on the contrary slow down the process, but at least they will get the kick they've been asking for by taking 5 months to look into a few sheets of paper and pictures. so unbelievably mad... :bonk:

National avarage processing time is 5.7 months. You're still within this processing time... I don't think you're going to achieve anything by contacting your congressman before you significantly pass that avarage mark. Patience is the key, there is many of us who filed long before you , who are still patiently waiting, I suggest the same :) it's hard, I know, but there's nothing else you can do for the moment...

Yes. All we can do is hold on. And hope. I really hope this week is it for me. Tomorrow is 5 month mark. I would be thrilled to have NOA2 by the end of the week.
