Well my bouquet is from fabric :)

Good luck then! :)

It will be a very nice end of the 2012 :)

Thanks, good luck to you too! We will have a great end of 2012.

Im going to follow your example i think. I got stressed out trying to figure this out. Possibly planning a 350+ people wedding. Our circumstances (k1 petitions) are not the typical. We don't have a full year to plan for a big wedding.

Exactly, our circumstances aren't typical and I'm sure your closest family and friends will understand that. It's stressful enough planning a small wedding, let alone a big one.

I think I will. My flowers are actually going to be paper, I found a good seller on Etsy.

Ooohhh!!!! Who's the seller?

I'm actually deadset on making my own paper flower bouquet (I'm super crafty LOL)... but I love looking at others for inspiration.

(I actually had a bit of a breakdown earlier this week, because I was trying to make some paper flowers with my Cricut machine, and I just couldn't get it to work. Booo!)

Oh those are REALLY cute!! I love the grey & yellow music themed boutonniere! I want to do something similar for Tom and our groomsmen - we're doing a 1950's rock & roll inspired wedding in red and turquoise :)

So yesterday they started the day with RFE's.......today its with denial. I know how frightening that can be but if your confident in your petition, you should be alright. Still have a little less than 15 hours of work time left to be positive about. I hope tomorrow isnt as awful as the previous ones

Yes. A bad start for the day. I don't think I ever want to hear any news in the morning now! it doesn't seem to be good. The only activity around my petition was a withdrawl. I've noticed that there's action on about 1 petition in my group each day. It's been happening like that for a couple of days now. I don't think I want them to look at it in the morning anytime soon. But if they want to approve me tonight that's cool. ha..And my Congressman heard back. Email from VSC...And it is the exact same email Sabi's Senator received....It was very funny because they called me and then told me they forwarded me the email (while quoting a few things off it seemed very familiar...and it was word for word the same...Just substitute Senator for Congressman.. It does seem like a pretty big focus on petitions from 18, 19, and 20 now at least...Hope we're all close to some good news.

To be fair, those denials may be from the folks posting in the main K-1 forum who didn't follow the instructions. There was a thread started by someone who only sent the I-129F form and the payment...nothing else.

It is very difficult. Johns family is big but it would be so difficult to plan it out under these circumstances, plus I am here, he is there.

That's why we have decided to go with a very small wedding.

Ceremony at 1;30

Then some pics

Reception at our favorite family restaurant from 3;30-7;00

After party at our place! Beer time haha

My fiance is the biggest fan of Notre Dame so since they play that nite, we figured we were just gonna have beer after with the younger part of the family and friends haha

Many people do a little civil wedding at first and then later on a big normal one... So you might consider that option too.

Really and trully my family would never understand haha

My Mexican family wants to party on this day. Im the oldest grandkid of my moms side of the family. All my family has been waiting for me to get married for years now. So for them a 50 people wedding is unheard of. My brother got married last year and had atleast 600 people!

Of course he planned this out 10 months in advance.

I have no time and definitely im not in a position to plan out anything until we have at least NOA2. But its not up to the family of course. So we are definitely making a small wedding.

An RFE would definitely be painful this late in the waiting period..I'm thinking I'll hear something in the next 5 business days now if I'm lucky...It's been pretty consistent that 1 petition has received some type of action in my group each day. Maybe they'll decide to approve an extra 1 tonight

I think so! there is no other reason for a denial except if you sent them nothing from the list they posted on the USCIS website... I know some people say there isn't much explained but a few days ago I have found an official list which pretty much indicates what needs to be sent with the petition :) so we are safe!
