Oh wow, we've got July peeps checking us out now! Haha.

And she actually hand checks a whole list of numbers on the USCIS website to give an idea of what they have been working on at VSC...you know where you type in your own receipt number to check your case status? Well, you can change that number up and down from your own and see the status of other people's stuff......

I just got this forwarded email from my congressman's office:

"The I129F petition was approved today 7/31/12. An approval notice will be mailed to the petitioner's address of record and the I129F petition will be sent overnight to the National Visa Center for processing."

However, there's no update on the USCIS website. Not sure what to think of it. Also, are they really gonna overnight it? When should I start calling NVC for that number thing?

don't rely on the website, it is not always updated... as long as you got an email , you pretty much are approved. Wait for your approval in a post... and who knows , maybe you will get express since you have been waiting almost 7 months now

YAY!! That's great news! I agree with Sabi. Maybe things just haven't updated yet.

thanks djricky... you are doing a good job by supporting us now it is really cool that people who got approved don't just disappear on us cheers!

it might be slow so far but I am sure many of us will finish this week with NOA2s in their pockets!

Yes thank you Beth n Tonio, I missed that one I type hundreds of numbers each day from Jan 3 - Jan 31 to bring some good news to our January peeps as VJ (being 5-10% of all the petitions received on each month) doesn't really show the bigger picture of approvals!

As others said, don't rely on the website, it's not a real-time status! It will most likely be updated later today. But the best thing is that you're approved :dance: congrats

Don't know whether it's because of involving your congressman or what, but to have your case overnighted to NVC is really cool uber congrats

Lets just be confident and said we are all gonna make it to NVC the same time. hopefully by next week we all get approve and possible have our case #.....i dont know if im hoping for too much
