an update for us january filers..got an email and a text that i was getting an rfe..not sure what it's for but at least there's movement

Hopefully it will be an easy one to respond to and you'll have NOA2 very soon.

1/13/12 - I-129F Petition Submitted to Dallas Lockbox

1/18/12 - Received at Vermont Service Center

1/20/12 - NOA1

1/24/12 - Touched

2/09/12 - Touched

8/02/12 - NOA2 (197 Days After Received at VSC)

8/14/12 - Received at NVC (Assigned Case Number)

8/16/12 - Departed from NVC

8/20/12 - Arrived in US Embassy Kiev

I'm so happy to see a few approvals here :) My fiance just booked his medical for August 9th, so I have my fingers crossed for a September interview.

Me too Paul. I will be soo happy when I see you and Sabi get your approvals... I will cry too! It will feel like a weight has been lifted. Right now we are sitting at 187 days and will likely be waiting a few more weeks for them to respond to our RFE. :(

Yes. Sabi, Vos, and I are really getting up there in days. I think Vos and I are the only 2 January filers that haven't heard anything with a received date of 1/18 or earlier...Hope they'll not forget about us this week. I don't want to know what 200 feels like. 190s (195 precisely) was quite enough... :whistle:

Thanks :) I think they will! That's one thing VSC is great about, forwarding petitions to the NVC. I'm hoping for great news for you and everyone else this week. We should all be on to the next step!

Ah got it..Yes. Looks like I'm the longest in the group now...yikes..and yes please no RFE. I don't want to feel like I threw away all this money on the attorney. Because that will have been worthless to get something like that :(..Hopefully some good news tonight or at least by the end of the week...Please no 200s...

WOW!!! I can't believe it... Was talking to my fiancee to say Good Night, and our call dropped like it often does... then the text message came in because the call ended... Case Status Changed... so I called her back... and said wait, wait, wait... I need to check something... (the website)... and there it was... APPROVED!!! We got share it together... SO FREAKIN COOOOOOOL!!! I don't think I will sleep much tonight...
