Border Patrol was good... no hassles when crossing. :)

I think I missed almost 30 pages of our thread in 3 days, wow we are good!! :D

Hi Texas22! I meant to mention today that I miss you here and here you are! Glad you made it safe! Glad you are with your Hunny!

No approvals as of yet... many congressional complains though haha! But you shouldn't worry, enjoy as much as you can those precious moments with your loved one! I am sure NOA2 will wait for you once you come back home :) maybe even earlier!

Just checking in... i have high hopes every thursday since that's the day we got approved! Updates from London: Sara80 and i had some beers in the london sunshine last night and it was awesome! I thoroughly recommend meeting up with others in the same position, aren't there a few of you in Ireland? A get together might be very cathartic (and just plain fun!).

only checked here just now.. yes, it was good indeed :) hopefully a next week catch-up for the latest updates! (hoping as well to celebrate for you guys!!) How much fun would be a big meet up with all of us in the USA. Depending when its gonna be I'm not sure I'll be able to make it unfortunately.. but lets see.. :)

Just called NVC and they did not received my case yet and told me it could take up to 3 weeks before they receive it from VSC... I guess I'll keep calling ! :)

Just called NVC and they did not received my case yet and told me it could take up to 3 weeks before they receive it from VSC... I guess I'll keep calling ! :)

Hopefully next week they'll have it for you! 2 weeks seems to be entirely possible for it. will be interesting to see the trends of VSC - NVC...and for the rest of us...Hopefully VSC wakes up tomorrow. Just give us at least one decent day please...

Yes. I'm not sure what to expect from my Congressman at this point...I was hoping maybe some sort of update by the weekend. I guess I could try my Senator next as he has drafted immigration related legislation recently..so maybe that's my next option...Or maybe all will be okay and I'll get a non "canned" response or even an approval...

Yes stupid mistake really. The long birth cert. there is the one from the hospital, which is the one I sent. It had all of my parent's info on it etc. They wanted the state one. Stupid mistake that could have been avoided if I had just copied and sent my passport instead... I sent it back on 7/23, same day I got it. I am hoping our status changes to RFE review soon. Thanks for asking! Enjoy some sugar from your hunny!

is it possible to shed some light on this issue of RFE and Birth cert... it hink its stupid to give an RFE for that after someone waited for 6 months, besides, isnt it the same information on both. Im starting to worry cause it seems like we sent the hospital version :help:

I think it's a common mistake...I almost did the same thing. But my attorney caught it...I guess they did something right...I guess state one is what they always want. has anyone received approval with the other version?

It will change soon, don't worry. They received ours on Friday the 13th of July and updated our case on Wed the 18th of July! At least it was something simple to fix!! :)

It's amazing how many "normal" couples take the little things for granted... we cherish every moment! (L)
