You know how wed and thu at uscis are! You will all get approved by the end of this week and get married in fall:)

Fall weddings are awesome!

I havent slept one night comfortable since we hit the 6 month mark....only thing on my mind is maybe ill get approved the next day. even when i try not to think about it. its like i cant wait for another day to come just to have a chance of approval

our anniversary is on Thanksgiving Day... how cool would that be to celebrate 3 events on one day! I would be super grateful for that!

I hope this is the week for all of you still waiting. I thought that once mine was approved, everyone's would be I can't believe the backlog! I really hope today and tomorrow are the days for all of you. It's been said a million times, but we did get lucky with Vermont because they are sending petitions to the NVC very quickly. I'd much rather have a long wait for the NOA2 than the NVC, because at least you know your package isn't waiting there for a month untouched.

I'm sending all the positive thoughts I have in me Today my fiance is sending off for his police certificate and tomorrow he'll be mailing the forms to the London Embassy. I still need to find a good example of a cover letter to put with the Notice of Readiness form.

Wishing you all the best this week and upcoming weeks. I feel as though I've been fretting more for y'all than worrying about our own status. Back in June we thought 160 days was a lot, but this... You guys are a lot stronger than I feel I could have ever been. Here's to hoping it comes for all of you sooner than later.

I asked about Gary in the RUB forum a few days ago... Apparently he is taking care of the "Honey-Doo" list this summer in Ukraine. But yes, he does have some inside connections as his wife's friend works there as adjunticator. Too bad not a peep from him in several weeks... The RUB forum also says it is not the same without him.

Thanks for the response! That must be a huge difference without him in the RUB forum. I'm sure he will be back in action soon.

Thanks LorRenee for being there for us all this time I think I went through all the possible emotional states so far... Now I just know we have to wait , be as strong as we can be and think of what awaits us once we get our NOA2 it's been 6 freaking months! We are strong guys, we survived this far, we will survive another few days

No, I'd rather it be with an adjudicator than calling the USCIS every day and them not knowing where the file is or if it's going to the NVC I don't know, I'd just rather them take forever to adjudicate it and then send it promptly like they did with mine. I would hate to wait a month and call both places and neither know where my petition is, that would terrify me!

things are getting from bad to worst to IDK......how is it possible that CSC start approving peeps from April, and im here @ VSC waiting from January.......this is @#$% unfair

That's fine, I bet I would feel totally different if I were still waiting. It could be worse, it could be a 6 month wait at the VSC and then another month's wait to get to the NVC. I did have to spend about 20 minutes on hold to get someone at the NVC. Sabi, are you doing a courthouse wedding and then a bigger wedding later? I almost wish I had gone this way. Financially, this was not a year in which to have a wedding

I'd rather have the visa now and not have to wait at all I kind of agree with both of you because I'm on the fence. I think its hard for me to look at the big picture sometimes, but I do try. Its all kind of psychological for me to say I'm moving onto stage 2 or 3 and not still stuck at stage 1, because in this process I don't know ahead of time how long or short those later stages could take. hhm.. idk

Yes. The only positive thing I can say is that VSC to NVC to Consulate looks to be pretty fast...Now if we could just get NOA2...8 VJ timelines approved at CSC again yesterday. The problem is just that Vermont is doing something else. Whatever it is..Whether it be H1B or something we don't even know about..It has their full attention..It has to be something pretty significant because the approvals just aren't coming in.
