I'm thinking about ordering one of them gorgeous ones online!! But I think I will order it a size too big, and then have it tailored to fit me before the wedding... Still haven't done it yet though... it makes me nervous. :blush:

We have already pretty much decided that we are going to have a civil service right after POE and do AOS, and then we are going to have our actual wedding next April... and we will celebrate our anniversary on our "wedding date".

With moving to USA, and then finding a house, getting the kids situated in school, AOS... all that stuff.. I simply could not imagine throwing a big wedding into the mix within 90 days with all that going on!! Impossibly stressful!! :help:

A good idea might be to try some on in the store and then order one online :) Wedding dress sizing is way off from normal sizing- my wedding dress size was 4x bigger than my street size. My wedding is going to be pretty small (30-50 people) so not too stressful, though changing the date was stressful!

Yeah... the wedding dress industry can make you feel bad about your size if a girl is self-conscious lol. I don't think Beth should have too much of a problem though, she is super duper skinny :P

Yeah... the wedding dress industry can make you feel bad about your size if a girl is self-conscious lol. I don't think Beth should have too much of a problem though, she is super duper skinny :P

:blush: hehehe yes...but I have a tiny waist and big hips...so finding a style that flatters me is not so easy...I know the style that has worked for me in the past, so the trick is finding that online with a design that I like! I just check out the measurements--most places have a listing of what size means what in inches so hopefully that is accurate....! Still not sure if I will order online ;) still chicken! haha

Oh I know! I tried some on at a bridal shop...4X more is about right. So I will take the size I tried on in the store and up it even one more size if I order online... I also wanted to try on in the store so I could find the right style for me. :D

That's a great idea :) The style I thought I wanted ending up being the opposite of what I ended up with, but I love my dress. I just hope it fits okay after I try it on again!

I didn't end up calling the NVC today, but I probably will tomorrow. I can't believe how much time moving takes!
