I told ya since we are all hitting 6 months, there was no way we would wait for too long anymore!!! :) I bet all Jan filers will be approved by the end of July!

I think that box (18th) has been assigned to a different adjudicator... since the other has been sending just rfes this week for the other dates :)

still waiting here...Hopefully tomorrow! Congrats to LA and JK!!!=) and no activity in the group of petitions surrounding my own...last one approved was still July 11th..=/

yup, and to send it to NVC by month end. that would be great. i could really move mid to end september....our consulate isnt that bad, u get a date a month or 5 weeks after getting the files.

I'm thinking about ordering one of them gorgeous ones online!! But I think I will order it a size too big, and then have it tailored to fit me before the wedding... Still haven't done it yet though... it makes me nervous. :blush:

We have already pretty much decided that we are going to have a civil service right after POE and do AOS, and then we are going to have our actual wedding next April... and we will celebrate our anniversary on our "wedding date".

With moving to USA, and then finding a house, getting the kids situated in school, AOS... all that stuff.. I simply could not imagine throwing a big wedding into the mix within 90 days with all that going on!! Impossibly stressful!! :help:

Yea...it makes me nervous, too!!! That's why I haven't done it either...

My problem with waiting is that one of my cousins is having a big wedding in November and then his sister's is in April--right before my birthday which would be the time of year I would want it...so it's either right away this fall in a short time or next summer...and I have never been one to dream of a big wedding and I don't have nor want to spend lots of money on it, so if we can pull it off in October, we just might...I'm not doing anything with bridesmaids or favors or anything like that, so I think I could pull off getting a dress, renting a tux, ordering a cake and food, and finding a minister...the venue is easy enough since I want it at the local park...a friend will take pics and a coworker of hers will help...Just not sure about having the reception in the same place since I don't know if I will be allowed to rent tables and use them there so if we have to find another venue for the reception, we will have to wait till next year. I kind of don't want to spend months and months planning it all since my family will just make it more and more complicated! LOL. Who knows...we will see what happens.
