Sabi, your fiance sounds exactly like mine! I had to send him detailed emails about what to do etc, plus "business" skype calls to go thro forms...!!!

Last sunday he was filling in the I-134 and he was shocked when I told him he had to send it by slow mail.. he asked me if I could just copy his signature! No way! Dont want to jeopardise my visa to save some money on a stamp! and he told me once I'm there I'll be taking care of all the paperwork, bills etc.. LOL

My fiance is the same :D He just asks okay what to do now? I typed emails for him and he just corrected grammar and sent it to embassy, congressman hahah

He is very organized though but likes to keep me busy otherwise I would go nuts (i am very emotional) :D

NOA1 was January 27, rfe is today, July 17.

OH wow. That is terrible. All this time...well, someone touched your file and it isn't lost.....but that is a major bummer. Hope it's something simple! And, it's not a denial ;) I know it doesn't help much to hear it, but at least you should be able to take care of it soon and get back in the line.

Let us know what it's for when you get the letter!

I keep thinking about meeting all of you and how for it to actually happen, we might have to wait like a year with the way things are going!!! Otherwise there will still be folks stuck in other countries....crazy. So many of you out there with no NOA2s yet... I will be starting a series of attempts to contact the embassy here in Honduras tomorrow. They said to give them 5 to 7 days to respond to emails--I sent one with the request for the interview after sending one with several questions about what to do next since it is not outlined anywhere. That was last week. STill nothing. So since they only receive calls on Mondays and Wednesdays for an hour and a half, tomorrow will be the start.....from all the info I can gather, if you don't call them incessantly, you wait at least 2 to 3 months just for a date that is then another month or two later. So I am going into attack mode here! If that doesn't work, I will take the bus 5 hours down there with some homemade cookies or pie or something and show up at their 10 am receiving hour! LOL

Phone is always busy :/ tried calling 3 days (2x last week and this Monday) and no one ever answers. If you wait for the operator, she just transfers to the number that is always busy. A complete idiotic move. I sent them 2 emails. Just gonna bombard them with emails!

Our NOA1 was January 27th too! We received our RFE email July 5th... I hope it is something simple for you guys (keeping fingers crossed)...reply to them as soon as you receive your snail-mailed copy...

We sent ours back via overnight USPS so we had a tracking nbr and a signature receipt. I even know the time of day that it was signed for.

I am kind of hoping that since it took them so long to send out our RFE's that they will process the "additional evidence" quickly! :)

Hopefully Vermont will approve some of our petitions tomorrow. Terrible day today for VJ users. CSC was really pumping the K1s out. very disappointing. It's crazy to look at Igors list now and see the number of pending petitions. Especially for February. I wonder if Vermont will end up sending some petitions to Cali..The backlog is immense.

Something has to happen. I looked today and there are still a few petitions around mine that haven't been touched. And one was denied. I don't think I've seen a denial of a K1 before, especially since that petition hadn't gotten an RFE (at least not when I last checked last week).

My fiancee sara80 is an opposite one. he seemed to be more meticulous than me when it come to paperwork and now he sent me everything he has forwarded to USCIS even if i already have the copy..just to make sure for my interview:).i told him before(in a joke), once i get there i want to rest for a while and depend on him coz i'm a bit tired of being the father of my family hehe..
