January I-129F filers

I've heard nothing from my congressman yet and after catching myself up on this thread, seems to be the same as last week. I hope that all changes by this afternoon

I'll try calling them later today and call them out on the 1/9 and say that I know that February people have been approved and ask about service request and mention that have they ever thought that maybe our file was lost and could you at least please lay eyes on it????

I can be nice and patient but I can also get things done when need be

Yes it would be interesting to see how they respond to that. They were pretty certain about not being able to put in a request, the computer actually blocks it using that date...maybe this is something we mention to our congressmen? If they try to use the 1-09 date as proof of being within normal processing. And it does feel like they are walking all over us. I don't think they consider that with the internet we can see how their answers are less than honest.

End of January/ beginning of February being approved and see what they reply with. Wish it was actually me who could ring the USCIS as i know my fiance will be too nice and just accept anything they will tell him...

If the congressman can't get a service request started, at least they have the power to make sure it's on someone's desk so they HAVE to work it.

Some of y'all have waited longer than Photomile and I, it's ridiculous.

Here's what I sent the Ombuddy

"Good afternoon,

I had emailed about a month ago asking about the current status for January 3rd petitions that were outstanding. My case has now been approved, however the same inconsistency with the adjudications coming from Vermont doesn't seem to be improving. This is concerning because the entire month of January now seems to be neglected, save for the 5-6 approvals we see in a week. This is most unusual, even more so when petitions filed in February are now starting to see approval. 

It would be extremely appreciated if you could investigate this. While I might already have my approval, I am speaking on behalf of those who have passed day 160 of waiting, or are approaching it. 

Calling the USCIS call center is excruciating. We have been told they are currently processing January 9th, and have been told this for nearly two weeks. Those wanting a service request simply cannot have anything done on their file because of this inaccurate date. The system will not let them. Why would we see February if this is the case? I hope you can understand the frustration. 

If something has caused Vermont to slow down this drastically, a little reassurance would be a relief. Why hasn't there been activity? This is the main question everyone has been asking. 

If you can do anything at all, we would be forever grateful. 

Thank you for your service and what ever information 30+ people are hoping you will be able to provide."

Just wanted to let you know (as a sad February VSC filer), most of the Feb petitions that have been approved so far are actually coming from CSC. I think there have only been ~2 from VSC (and both had previous RFE's), so there's very little movement happening at VSC for February.

we will all be taken care of.. some sooner then others.. there is no reason to their madness.. but we do know it will be over and we are way past the halfway mark..

truthfully when i get the NOA2.. i won't be to surprised.. cuz i know it was coming

well that's actually true as the rest had their petitions delivered in January, unless we look at the NOA1 which we don't

Either way they started approving January petitions in April, we almost have July! That's one month throughout 3 months! I hope we get some answers soon. Our congress person didn't get back to us and I doubt they will today. We rang them last Thursday. Going to watch some True blood now, at least this way I can forget about this madness for around an hour...

Has the adjudicators @ VSC been on vacation for the last 3 months......thats the only explanation to this madness. Oct-Dec filers were easily averaging 110 days.........now its 160 if your lucky. end of next week could easily be 170. WE ALL WANT ANSWERS FOR THIS MADNESS. we are all human beings and we all have needs. It gets so depressing as each day goes by without any action.

Thanks LorRenee! I called USCIS and get fed the same ####### you all have been reporting. I mentioned that I knew for a fact that people who filed in February had been approved and he just continued to say they were working on 1/09. I said "well your website says the processing times are 5 months, so why can't we do an inquiry?" and he said it was because their computers say they're working on 1/9 and I said "ok well when will we be able to do an inquiry? There's a clump of us who filed around the same date as mine and we have heard nothing and we know feb people have been approved" he said when the dates shift in the computer past our date we can do an inquiry. It was like talking to a brick wall.... I felt like banging my head against the wall after talking to them. If I could have, I would have gently banged his head against the wall... Haha

I really hope the January folks see more approvals, especially from VSC, this week! With July 4 next week, I wouldn't be surprised if it's going to slow down even more. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!
