That's right! You better believe that! :)

Maybe i explain myself the wrong way ! Its just that lately, so much empty comment about being patient, it will come made me soo mad !! Sorry about that ! I do have hope and i intend to stay strong but I do know now that 4th July is coming and then summer vacation time, less staff working on our file... Even at 4-5 approvals a day (less than 50% of Jan had been process), end of July seems about right ( not to us though!!!). As for NCV there is a lot of people as we speak that are still waiting after their case number well after the required 2 weeks, so we can all imagined that the backlog could well continue through out the summer right ! And then the consulate !! I don't want to bring people down in their hope, i would be delighted myself if i cpuld be in the states sooner than i expect !! On the other hand i'm just realistic about that whole mess !

I'm right there with you. I'm hoping so much to have my fiance here by November, when we scheduled our wedding. We're going to put our wedding date and that we'll take any cancellations on the cover letter.

I hope to get there by October. I found out there's a direct flight to Anchorage from Frankfurt and I really hope I can get that flight (last one for the season is 6th october if I'm not wrong) as we are talking +20hrs (door to door) against 13/15 hrs!

But then, thats' not the only reason... :D

I wonder if my interview will be scheduled on the same day as any of you :)

If it helps, I have the same NOA1 date as you (I got the notification on 1/20, but the site says 1/17) and the wait is agonizing. I've done everything but call USCIS, which I will do today, so I'm hoping if we all try something, we'll get those middle of the month petitions approved very soon. My fiance goes back to England in 2 weeks and it kills me that I may not see him until November/December, and that's if we get approved in the next 2 weeks. I'm trying to be positive and realistic, which is tough in this situation. I'm past being patient, so I say we should just be as proactive as we can and channel all our frustration into contacting every possible to get an approval!

i know exactly what you meant! :) We are all right there with you! But realistically thinking how can they be processing one month January for 3 months! it would be ridiculous and would definitely get them into trouble i think! This week they have to put aside whatever else they are busy with and go through all those petitions , otherwise they will be getting calls from congress people am service requests every single day... And not only one but hundreds of them! I dont think they can afford it ... So fingers crossed for all of us ! If they manage to get 5 people working on those petitions this week they could get around 500- 700 done this week :)

What else is there for us to do? I know it sucks... I'm about the least patient person there is, but there really isn't anything we can do about it except to be proactive on our cases, and we all are..make some calls, and hope for the best! The whole system is broken, and to think, this is a service that we pay for!

But positive energy is far better than negative. We are all trying to give you some hope and we are all in the same boat here!

Stay strong!! :)

I just called USCIS and actually spoke to someone very quickly. That is about the only positive thing I got out of the call. I figured I would call so I could say that I called. I had the pleasure of speaking with Christine, ID 2681745. She was pleasant enough, but gave incorrect information. I told her I was out of normal processing times and wanted to know what I could do to find out where I stand in this process. She told me they were processing September 15, 2011 files! I asked if she was joking. She said no, that this was normal processing times for Vermont and I should check back next month. I asked if that meant that there were no approvals since September last year - not a single one - she hesistated and said yes, that's correct. She said to check online because that is what was posted as the processing time. Well, I did that and she was giving me the processing time for K-3/K-4 - Already married - spouse and/or dependent child.

I won't be calling back. I made my call to say I did it. I'm done with that. :bonk:

I just keep shaking my head. Its like talking to a wall. Useless. If this wasn't so serious for me, I would actually be laughing out loud about all this. It is that ridiculous to be told something so inaccurate and misleading.

Yes. It takes a few CSR to get one that even knows what they're doing...haha September 2011...I've heard everything now. Last week they said that they were processing January 9th. I might call today and see if the script has changed. Hope some people will have good news tonight. It's quiet so far. I think around 2-3 pm if we're lucky there should be some sign of activity. It always seem to start after that time on a Monday (on the days things were actually happening)....

same here. If I don't hear anything by Wednesday I will call them back. I think I might take the time to call VSC around lunch and see if I can get a processing date out of them again. It would feel good to hear something different than 1/09 (as long as it's a later date) ha. If they tell me anything different I'm calling them out on it and asking for Tier 2. They really can't afford to be going backwards in processing right now lol
