My petition was recived at the CSC on 1/10/12 and touched on 1/13/12. Stilll says intial review. I called the NSC and put in a service request. I was told I should receive a response in 15 days. Has anybody else done this? What was the result? I don't want to piss off any government worker but, I'm now 162 days out and I'm dying to bring my fiance home with me. I see ather filers at the CSC in my time frame have already gotten their NOA2 and some even approved!! Help!!

I am in the same situation as you and I haven't received my NOA2 yet. I am starting to get scared. Was my petition lost or is it just laying somewhere?? I haven't called to inquire yet but I am definitely getting worried.

After I posted here, I just went to check the USCIS website and I found out that our petition was approved on June 21. Thank you Lord for doing this. All glory and Honor to the Lord.

I was sooo worried and now its like my life just changed drastically..I need time to sit down and accept this is real...I ca't believe it because yesterday, it said something else and today, it is saying something completely different. I don't know how many times I am going to check the USCIS website today, just to make sure I am not dreaming.

But just hang in there khwaidee, it could be that the website hasn't been updated yet and maybe you haven't received the text or email like me. Also try to call and find out. But everything is going to be ok. Goodluck and God speed to all those waiting.

I haven't read the February thread and I don't want to, but I thought it was HIGHLY inappropriate for that feb filer to come to the January thread and rub it in our faces that they already got their approval. I'm happy they got their approval but seriously????? Use some dang common sense. You can read this thread and see that we are all fuming and frustrated with no approvals and then to post that they filed in February and already got their approval and to include that we may find that encouraging?!?!?!? That's NOT encouraging and the more I think about it the angrier I get... I'm sorry but don't go to another thread and rub it in people's faces that you got approved when you filed wwwaaayyyyy after all of us.... Some of you have been waiting longer than I have and I pity you. I just pray that we start seeing some approvals soon.

My congressman's secretary didn't get back with me today but hopefully I will hear something from her on Monday. If its not good news, I will mention to her about our plight and see what they can do or see if she can refer me to someone who has more power and pull than his office.

I went back and read what they said earlier yesterday. I don't think they meant to rub it in our faces, but to give us a heads up that the service centers aren't being fair to us January filers. They wanted to encourage us to reach out to our congressman/senator so that we can fight for our approvals. Yes, seeing that February is getting approvals makes my heart sink for our little family here, but don't let that discourage you. Look at it as an opportunity to get things moving with powerful people (yay congress!)

I don't know if reaching out to my congressman helped, but when she spoke to me that Monday morning, we were approved that Thursday afternoon (keep in mind, we also somehow got an inquiry activated May 18th WELL inside processing times. Not sure how that worked).

I kind of got the same impression. It feels a little like the February filers might want us to try to hurry up and get our approvals so that it's their turn? We are trying everything we can. Believe me, we want our approvals just as much as they want theirs :) Even more so, since we've been waiting a few weeks to a month longer.

Yes. Really hoping VSC can spring into action this week and give us a week like CSC did last week. This is the make or break week for many of us January filers. Quite a few of us will be coming up on 160 days this week. And with the next week being a holiday week, it's clear that some of us (not all of us) might be looking at 180-190 days if we can't pull through with NOA2 this week. Hopefully the congressional inquiries and other actions we have all started initiating wake someone up over there...We'll know soon. Congrats to all CSC filers. They are doing a great job over there. Exactly what June has always been for adjudications when you look at the data from all the past years.
