THe london Embassy is slowing down in processing the non immigrant visa's during the olympics period. :-(

Kittylondon, I think you you try to get your interview as soon as you can, before it slows down. ( But I'm sure you already know this!) :-)

Nnnooooooo don't say that :( I all the places to have that stupid Olympics of COURSE they'd pick to have it in London the same year we choose to apply for k1 visa :(

Our K-1 Visa Journey

1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

9/17/12: Received Visa in the mail

---------------- DHL Arrived at Sort Facility HONG KONG - HONG KONG

7/31/2012 - DHL Delivered US DIPLOMATIC PAPERS to Thailand

I don't like to get my hopes up for it and then it not come :(

I've been reading this thread almost every day for the last three months so I am glad to see some of the regulars are starting to get their NOA2s! I still haven't heard anything, sadly. What upset me the most is that my number is in a batch of three, one before and one after, and the one before me was approved last week. I find myself sleeping with my iPad on the floor beside me, and every time I wake up and first thing in the morning, I check the status. I am really hoping that the rest of the January filers get their NOA2s before we start hitting the 5-month mark.

Yes. I've heard of that happening too! So far today has been slow for both centers. But I wasn't expecting much on a Friday.

Every time my SMS alert goes off my heart jumps a little... Could this be it??? No... Could this be it?? No...

Could this be it??? No... Could this be it?? No... Could this be it??? No... Could this be it?? No...

Even if I know its probably just one of my friends, my first thought always is maybe this is it...

I have not been this excited since... well never. Our time is very soon!

I'll probably freak out when I do finally get the SMS, so I hope its not while I'm at work.

Who cares if I'm at work, I'll be jumping up and down for sure. LOL

Yep! That's exactly what I did too! I should have never signed up for the text message alerts. All I did was get disappointed every time I got a text message that wasn't my NOA2, lol. And then when I finally got it I was asleep anyway. :rolleyes:

I know exactly how you feel... I signed up for a text notice, but they say only texting to United States (I'm in Canada), but I know my fiance also has signed up for text notification so every time I get a text I am wondering... is this it??

Now we have to wait the whole weekend before more news... :(

I hope everyone has a great weekend... I am going to try and stay busy and be productive this weekend by going through my house and start sorting stuff... what's going with me and what's not!! :)
