1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

Same here! We all hoped we WEREN'T that lost box in the black hole and now look :(((( I'm still in my 5 month window though so I can't complain. Come June 20 if I haven't heard anything I'm calling my congressman's office again. They said they would call and check on me so we will see what happens.

Hey Paul, why don't you get approval tomorrow, plan to come to interview, and we meet in kiev for some much needed Baltaka and Borsch?? :yes:

100%. I get approval and I'll be there. Kiev is awesome in the summer. Things are pretty crazy right now with Euro's first game in Ukraine this coming Monday. By the time our girls have their interviews most of that will have passed ha.

Now planning Mid to Late July!! Euro 2012 done July 1, so no problem. OK then, boat tour down the river to boot. :pop:

Yes. I might start reaching out to my Congressman next week, but maybe just maybe I'll wake up tomorrow to NOA2. ha. They need to find the box of 2/09 touches and work it.

Well ours has not been touched since Jan. 12th...3 days after our NOA1 so I am contacting Congresspeople tomorrow morning...problem is that I saw on at least 2 websites that they require you to sign a statement for some privacy act before they will do anything...and I have no good way to mail that to them that won't take several weeks to arrive. Ugh. Wish I would have known that a few weeks ago and I would have sent it ahead of time! Haha.

I am going crazy with the waiting......5 months is this week for us so it's just not nice to see others right around our case number getting approvals and RFEs--I mean, if we are going to get an RFE, tell me already so I can take care of it! Some news would be better than this big pile of nothing for months on end!!!!!!! :(

June 11, 2012 NOA2 rec'd 154 days later...

July 5, 2012 NVC rec'd and new case number given

July 9, 2012 Left NVC en route to Honduras! :)
