Hi Guys,

Just to let you know we had a 2nd email yesterday(May 23) from VSC telling us they received our response to the RFE and it was being matched to our file and returned to the officer who made the request and we would be notified as soon as a decision was made! Not sure if this is standard have not seen anyone post about it before?, is that weird to get 2nd email, wording was all different to the one we got last week........ Now on original RFE they say to expect a decision in a minimum of 14 days to a maximum of 60 days.......14 days is next Tuesday May 29, but now i am thinking is could be longer with Memorial day on Monday, just as long as it does not run to 60 days, I could not cope!!!.

May God grant us all extra patience.......

Interview Monday 27th August 2012

207 days since NOA1.

Tommy arriving Saturday 25th August

Yipee!!!

APPROVED!!!!

Tommy went home 5th Sept

Visa arrived in mail 5th Sept

Not to keep your hopes up but that might as well mean that they know they've done a mistake and will speed things up for you :) I'd say you hear from them within a few days :)

eh to be honest I've given up all hope of being approved this month. Since we appear to be in the box that always gets left, I;m guessing mid June for us! At least there is something to explain why!

I hear you mate! I actually decided not to check the numbers anymore as I can't be bothered with all this frustration! That way if I am approved it will be a surprise!

I am sorry about your petition being one of those... It's really weird that all of us here heard nothing yet except for Neetz and her RFE... we just need to wait and it will come!

I have noticed that some petitions I have checked on the USCIS are coming up with this message:

"On May 23, 2012, we transferred this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action."

This is CSC..

are they transferring them cos they have such a backlog that they want to get rid of some? This for example was a petition received on 23rd jan. (not mine)

Yup I think we're all looking at mid June now with these adjudication rates....The holiday will most likely slow things down next week too. I'll do a congressional inquiry as soon as I hit 5 months however. Apparently it makes them have to pull the file. My case is simple so hopefully if an adjudicator pulls it, they will just get it out of the way.

i don't mind it taking the full 5 months for approval when we've come this far, what i'm more worried about is getting to 5 months, or even past it, and THEN getting an RFE. that would suck soooooo much!
