1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

9/17/12: Received Visa in the mail

8/20/12 - Arrived in US Embassy Kiev

Maybe the slowdowns mean they all have grabbed new files and if everyone's file is like mine, that's a lot to look at in one day.... Hopefully it picks up soon :)

Well, I’m really glad this one is over...such a high hopes and such a low return from VSC K1 approvals...but, it is what it is...Next week will be much, much better...anyhow we are one day closer to the NOA2 approval then we were yesterday :)

Thanks you guys for the birthday wishes!!! heart.gif I was laying low for a day hoping a change would bring me an NOA2, but it is hard not to peak at this site. You are all the best forum, internet, fellow K1 refugees I have ever met! I am grateful for all of your support! I wish VSC shared your spirit! But, next week better bring some approvals. If not my own, for you all of you! Happy Birthday to you as well Texas22. Do something fantastic for yourself! Can't wait to see this forum blow up with approvals next week. Hey guys!! Checked USCIS website this morning and found out they sent an RFE on May 16!! My fiancee just left back to Florida from visiting me... now i have to wait for him to get home to check his mailbox!!

Hey guys!! Checked USCIS website this morning and found out they sent an RFE on May 16!! My fiancee just left back to Florida from visiting me... now i have to wait for him to get home to check his mailbox!!

Sorry to hear this, but now you guys can get what is needed sent back and in a couple of weeks be approved.

definitely seems like approval can happen anytime for January filers now as you were a February NOA1. You're one step closer now, and hopefully they can process your RFE response quickly

Hi,

We got an RFE on May 7th and an email to say they received the response on May 15th, like you we filed end of Jan. Looking at other people who got RFE's and had a quick response to USCIS, they got their NOA2 after 7 days. so in my case that should be May 22nd, so fingers crossed, watch this space i will keep you all in the loop.........

Interview Monday 27th August 2012

207 days since NOA1.

Tommy arriving Saturday 25th August

Yipee!!!

APPROVED!!!!

Tommy went home 5th Sept

Visa arrived in mail 5th Sept

POE Dublin on Oct 3rd 2012
