Yup the touches are not indicative of when an approval will occur. Many are approved without a single touch. We just need to hope they finish with these December petitions and move on to us. When the first couple Januarys come through, it will be time to celebrate. It will be game on for everyone in January regardless of NOA1 date. Approvals for December encompassed a range of dates and didn't seem very sequential. Hoping in about 2 weeks our time will begin...

I've just booked my medical for June 5 (they are pretty busy at the clinic here in Ireland so I wanted to make sure I have it done by the time I get a packet 3)! Hopefully I'll hear something from the USCIS by then :)it's been "only" 3 months now and it already feels like a year!

Can u book the medical without having received NOA2? I thought they needed to have a case number?

In Ireland you can book and have a medical done before you get a case number, they don't need it and you are collection the results yourself so they are not sending anything to the embassy...

I wish I could book mine in London... I am visiting my family back home in Italy in may till mid june as it'd be easier to plan my months ahead... but eh.. life aint easy...!!

True it does make life a bit easier and helps to plan ahead of USCIS but fingers crossed for you, hope everything goes smooth medical/interview-wise

If there indeed was some sort of 2 month delay, it's very unfortunate for both January and unapproved December filers...we were all so close...absolute torture if this comes to pass...

I get it now maybe they mean the new petitions since they got a huge volume of them? I really do hope that ours will be processed next month... I can't stand a thought of not being approved for the next 5 months!!!

and there were actually 3 approvals at VSC yesterday according to updated timelines. That's actually better than what we've been seeing. If it could average that over the next two weeks, they would be through all the December petitions timelined on this this website. I don't think there's anything to worry about now.

Just checked now and it says 5 months again but when you go to processing times it still shows June...

yes definitely it won't affect us!!! we are almost there, it's just not possible for them to stop the process cause that's what it would mean we have to think positive! i don't mind June to be honest as long as it is not September!!

Definitely! And I'm totally cool with June. And I'll be pleasantly surprised if it ends up to be May. It's completely reasonable and nothing beyond what we expected when getting into all this. If approvals continue at around the current rate, we're done with a majority of December timelines in about 2-3 weeks.
