I just got back from VN yesterday without any problem entering US.

My friend just got her GC couple days ago and it is 2 years GC. However, she and her husband got married 2 years ago. Does she have to file any form to get the 10 years GC NOW - or wait until the 2 yrs GC expired?

You need to file within 90 days of the 2 year gc expiring, but before it expires. But to be safe, always check the instructions that you got at poe and that came with the 2 year gc. It will provide detailed information.
