Since neither of you are US citizens, "soon" is very unlikely to happen. You can apply for the Diversity Lottery Visa (next enrollment in October 2012, if you win move about a year later), or if one of you has special qualifications, you might be able to get a work visa.

I was wondering the same?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

you're out of luck there, unless you're related to USC or get a work visa, you won't be able to emigrate to the US.
