The price of an I-693 exam varies from physician to physician. I called around until I found a decent price at $140 here in Michigan. I had quotes from $140-$400. Here is a link to find civil surgeons in your area. It MUST be a civil surgeon who conducts your exam. Good luck! https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=CIV

They know exactly what you're talking about. Ask for the price and what's included. Sometimes they'll charge you extra fees besides the cost of the physical exam. Make sure you have your immunization (vaccines) record and if possible a translation of it (it doesn't have to be official).

Good luck.

In total my appointment cost $420, that included $200 for the appointment and $220 for vaccines.

I also paid another $35 for the syphilis test and I had a TB gold standard test that was covered under my insurance but would have been $160 oop, which was about the same as the TB test plus chest xrays, since I do pop positive for TB due to being vaccinated for it.

You can get vaccines at the local health department that will be cheaper, also you no longer have to do the HIV test so that does save you something

I paid about or less than $300 and that was for physical, lab work for syphilis, tetanus and tb, and a chest xray coz I popped up as positive due to a reaction from one of the many vaccinations I got when I was a kid. BSBC actually covers the check up in my area but I have united healthcare so, boo. I heard that if you want to cut cost, if you have insurance, get a med check up and updated vaccinations (if you happen to need any) from your local hospital and get them to mail the report to the civil surgeon. But you will have to make sure you complete all the lab work (make sure you are clean!) & get vaccinated before you set up an appointment with the civil surgeon. That way you only pay for consultation/physical check up and that could save you some bucks!

In Virginia mine cost $250 for the appointment plus I had to get an MMR jab (I missed this in UK as they didn't start using it until 1988) and a Tetanus shot. He quoted $150 to do both but got them done at Costco for $100. My doctors in the UK had faxed me (fax to email) my record of immunisations which I recommend you do otherwise you have to get Polio etc as well.

I paid $290 for my exam... that included the check-up at the civil surgeons practice and $45 for the bloodwork that he did (I was pissed cause they quoted me $245 and no one ever mentioned that didn't include the cost for the bloodwork at the lab). My shots were current and I didn't need a chest x-ray.

Here in Colorado in about an hour radius he was the cheapest, I got quotes of up to $700!!

They can never give you an "exact" price because that price depends on your medical records (which shots you have had previously) and your reaction to the TB test. You could ask "What is the total cost for the appointment and transcribing?" this should cover everything except any additional shots/x-rays you may need.
